I liked most of the concert except the last couple.......Aqualung and Locomotive Breath....I thought they were terrible..... Not the best recording with poor sound quality but I have to agree with you JITG. Locomotive Breath was not the same without John on keyboards and as for Aqualung, I've never really liked the new arrangement and much prefer the original version.

I don't like being negative bunkerfan John, but because I've seen the band many, many times since 1972...I don't need to hear Aqualung and Locomotive Breath any more...but I do understand that for many who are seeing them for the first time, these songs have to be played. I remember going to see Mark Knopfler and being gutted and gobsmacked that he didn't play Brothers in Arms. The thing with Aqualung and Loco, I've never thought those two tracks were ever as good live as the studio versions...yet most Tull music live is amazing, I never liked those two live. I have tickets for the upcoming tour in April though

I liked most of the concert except the last couple.......Aqualung and Locomotive Breath.... I thought they were terrible..... I understand your concern about Aqualung and Locomotive Breath This has happened for many years since 1995 when "Aqua-diddley" was born. Thank you for being there in Rome to see and hear the concert we all would want to see !!!

Does no one seem to mind that recent tours seem to have everchanging personnel, even at times going out with band members missing and replaced with some sort of backing tape? IA s stock answer is "if you dont like it dont come" I dont and I wont then.

Jethro Tull Live @ Auditorium Roma (1/2) Jethro Tull Live @ Auditorium Roma (2/2) I liked most of the concert except the last couple.......Aqualung and Locomotive Breath....I thought they were terrible..... I like more the Aqualung "new" intro than the usual rendition of the song that follows it... I like it when He reworks old songs in order to make them more sustainable in vocal terms or with additional instrumental sections, etc... I also like that recent songs are plaied live. Ok, you know, I have seen JT/IA live a dozen time, maybe not everybady has been as lucky as me

Does anyone know why John O'Hara has not featured in recent concerts ? Probably because carrying around his keyboards set (and his beard too) is too cumbersome and expensive: Mr. A. recently even dropped his guitar to feel lighter and free... and to save money!

Video by Antonio Lofrese From the Jethro Tull concert on 11/02/2024 A young Ian Anderson, who at 76 years old seems to fly on the notes... The filming of this video was allowed by Ian Anderson, who had asked us not to film the other songs.

Well I know who's on bass and drums, but if still no keys, and the guy Jack, who was second guitar while there was no keys....is now lead guitar...does that not mean a huge gap....come on Ian... The Tull reputation is going down the drain and that should not happen

Jack Clark taking over from Joe is a start but, I for one need to know when John is coming back because I'm afraid, Jethro Tull aren't the same without keyboards.

If Ian went out with just a backing track would you still go When I saw Ian and crew in Philly, his backup (really supporting) singers were essentially backing tracks. One male and one female (I forget who they were, but someone will bail me out here ) who did a lot of the heavy-lifting on some of the songs, but were recordings projected onto the screen behind the band. I would rather have seen Ian and Martin together, again, in Jones Beach in the 1990s, but that will no longer happen Sigh. But I'm glad I went to the Philly show at The Mann for sure!

Check that actually, I would have loved to have seen them WAY earlier but I didn't get into Tull until college in the late 80's! So definitely would loved to have seen the awesome shows (that I may or may not have bootleg copies of) from those earlier decades!
