So glad to see you back Non-rabbit. You surely have been missed! Tull has been gaining steadily today. Hopefully things are falling into place now, but we can’t be complacent, keep voting. I don’t like to lose!

Tull is inching up again. Let’s keep voting. There’s no way T Rex can beat Tull. That’s just craziness!

It’s kind of strange. When I check the site on my PC it says you can only vote once a day. When I look at it on my phone it says once every hour, but I have been able to vote every hour so far. (If I can remember too!)

Where is the mandolin? Yeah get your drift. So that's the saxophone problem solved Ian OK, all points well made. Let's get Ryan some saxophone lessons and on with the show! And while I'm dreaming (as I often do), I'll take a front row seat!

I know this band could play APP live and I would so love to see it. I think the problem is Ian and the saxophone. He hates it, and there is a lot of saxophone in APP. I don't think it would sound the same without it. I'm up for anything though, old, new or in between.

I really love One White Duck, it just shows how Ian Anderson can make words and music come together in a way that no one else can. And for me; my dreams are for dreaming and best left that way.

I certainly do not want to be left out here, although I'm late indeed. I hope you had a wonderful day. I think birthdays should aways be special. I'm not as flashy as some, but I do have a great respect for rabbits, especially those of the Non variety. This forum would be missing a great deal without your wit and wisdom. You Rock Nonrabbit! Happy birthday!

I'm with you , Teach'.....the Greek islands are paradise...one named Samos is my favorite...but I'd rather be in London that night.....you're from the Southeast, right? Do you get a second round of bricks this summer ? I'm on the the coast in southern NC and the nearest concert is in VA just outside of DC on July 16. That's about a 6 hour drive from here. Not out of the question, but I wish they were coming a little closer. There I go wishing again.

Tickets are still available for this......... But I've been checking regularly to see when any of the box things came up... ...and they never did..... If I was going I would have loved to have a seat in one of those boxes.......... So how could someone book a seat for those boxes..... Can't make it sadly, will be on a Greek island........ Normally, I would not think that time on a Greek island would be a sad thing (although I having never been to a Greek island). However, if I could have a wish for 30 June 2013, between a Greek island and the RAH concert in London, I would go for RAH. Followed by a Greek island. After all it is a wish!

'With you there to help me' as well, I'd say...very trippy with some of the same effects as Play in Time. When they unretired that song, I think during the 'Light and Dark' tour that followed the release of 'A Little Light Music' and they sorta chickened out of playing as much of an acoustic set in the USA as they had in Europe/Israel to generate the album, no one was happier than me. 'With You there to Help me' has to be on most 'top ten Tull song' lists despite the temptation to give spots to longer, more complex latter day tunes. What are the top 3. pre-Aqualung songs? With you there to help me, life's a long song and what else ? Sweet Dreams? LITP ? Nothing is easy? Cry you a song? Reasons for waiting? tough call. Pick my top 3 songs from the pre-Aqualung song list? No Way! You did a pretty good job with the seven or so that you mentioned but I would add a few more. New Day Yesterday, We Use to Know and maybe even Teacher (just saying). So much good music from way back when!

Sad news. My brother was an extreme Doors fan. He had all their albums and I got a large dose of Doors through him. I always liked Ray's unique keyboard style. RIP Ray.

In my country you appear as maiale. I not like your behavior to women. Not to worry CC. My intentions are to show all ladies from other countries in a positive and respectful way. Drinking beer is a German tradition which many local citizens are proud of. When I travel to other countries or here, I am very much a gentleman to all. Relax. Have a beer. What Jim says is very true. I met him last September at a concert in Asheville NC. He is respectful and a gentleman in all aspects. He does have appreciation for beautiful women. I don't have a problem with that. I tend to appreciate handsome men. You will not find a more genuine and honest person than Jim here or anywhere. I know that for sure.

I love Stand Up. It was my introduction to Tull. I use to listen to it over and over, beginning to end. I could have never have imaged the journey that would be in store for me. What an amazing trip it has been. And continues to be!

Back when Tull was playing the arena shows, I always longed to see them in smaller more intimate venues with amazing acoustics. I am loving the venues they are playing now. The sound of the music is so unbelievable, it is an extremely emotional experience for me.

Remembering John Glascock (2 May 1951 – 17 November 1979)John Glascock (2 May 1951 – 17 November 1979) was the bass guitarist, backing vocalist, and occasional lead vocalist for the progressive rock band Carmen. He was also the bass guitarist and backing vocalist for the progressive rock band Jethro Tull from December 1975 until August 1979. He died in 1979, at the age of 28, as a result of a genetic heart valve defect, which was worsened by an infection caused by an abscessed tooth. I had no idea he was only 28 when he died. That is sad. I'm happy to have seen him play with Tull in 1977 the Songs from the Wood concert. One of the best I have ever seen.

This looks rather good Star Trek Into Darkness I’m a huge Trekkie and I can’t wait to see this movie! I became a Star Trek fan in 1966 and a Tull fan in 1969. My formative years!

The vibe of the thread (for the most part) felt wrong (ill timed, ill advised), so I opted for peace – Does anyone have a problem with that? Apologies to those that had their posts removed, especially to teacher. teacher, your posting was most appreciated. +The Golden Rule prevents me from responding to a few others. No need to apologize to me tootull. I understand your reasons for removing the thread. It’s all good.
