Thanks Jtull007! I’ll be going to the stockholm show. Pretty good concert venue. I missed last time they were in sweden, the postponed covid shows, so I’m really happy to get to see the old goat again. Well look at that… tull with no keys and two electric guitars. Crazy world! Did they do that in order to soften the impression of the covid playback keyboard, then? IAN "GOAT" ANDERSON "GREATIST OF ALL TIME" Always a pleasure to share TULL INFO to everyone here. This gives me a way to learn about each concert and location. Usually there are unique forms of promotion to each country especially online. If you happen to see future signs or advertisements in the area, take some photos if possible. I LOVE TULL POSTERS !!!!

Joe Parrish will be involved with his own new album and John O'Hara should be returning soon.
Jack Clark is now 'Official TULL Guitarist' and he has proven himself starting March 6th Seems this has now gone official on the Tull site. Must admit this is a bit of a bummer for me, having just purchased tickets för the show in sweden this autumn. I really liked Joe, his playing and especially how it fit in the band’s sound. But I guess the new guy might be great too, and the switchup will likely give the next album a bit more individuality too. But I will miss Joe! Mr 007, do you happen to know of any videos of the new recruit playing the guitar with the band? Jethro Tull (Palacio de Congresos de Granada - 22/02/2024)

Don’t miss seeing the year’s smallest full moon this weekend LINK Micromoons are related to the more commonly known Supermoons, which both describe two extremes of the Moon's apparent size. Supermoons are more captivating as they appear brighter and bigger in the night sky as the Earth and Moon are at their closest. On the other hand, Micromoons occur when the Moon is at apogee, its furthest point from Earth.
This causes the Moon to appear dimmer and smaller even at the Full Moon phase.

Well I know who's on bass and drums, but if still no keys, and the guy Jack, who was second guitar while there was no keys....is now lead guitar... does that not mean a huge gap....come on Ian... The Tull reputation is going down the drain and that should not happen Life is always full of surprises and I will be looking forward to whomever Ian picks

LATEST NEWS JETHRO TULL's IAN ANDERSON To Guest On OPETH's Next Album Maybe they'll win a metal GRAMMY By Greg Kennelty LINK Opeth seems to be going further down the progressive rock rabbit hole, as Jethro Tull founder Ian Anderson has revealed he played flute on "three or four tracks" on their next record. Well, that or we're about to get some seriously death metal flute.
According to Anderson in an interview with the Mystery Tour radio show: "Well, from time to time I play on other people's records, if they're interesting to me. I just did — last week I played on three or four tracks from a prog metal band called [Opeth]."
And if you're thinking that might be a stretch, it's clearly been on Opeth mastermind Mikael Åkerfeldt's to-do list for a while. Blabbermouth points out that Åkerfeldt mentioned in a Prog interview that he originally asked Anderson to play on Heritage way back in 2011, but the two never got together.
"I did e-mail Ian Anderson but I never heard back from him," he said at the time. "Funnily enough, when I went down to Steven's [Wilson] place to mix the album, we're sitting on his couch and he says, 'Oh, I just got an e-mail from Ian Anderson,' and I was, like, 'What?!' And he just said, 'He just wants me to look into [remixing Jethro Tull's 1971 record] Aqualung. I'm really happy in retrospect that we have [Björn J:son Lindh] because it fits with the vibe of the record."
No word on when we can expect the new Opeth record. Outside of Anderson's appearance, it'll also be Opeth's first with drummer Waltteri Väyrynen, who replaced longtime drummer Martin Axenrot in 2022.

Does anyone know why John O'Hara has not featured in recent concerts ? Probably because carrying around his keyboards set (and his beard too) is too cumbersome and expensive: Mr. A. recently even dropped his guitar to feel lighter and free... and to save money! This appears to be more health related at the moment. There may be an announcement soon but personal privacy is always to be respected.
