I will make a small correction, the Mexican edition of Minstrel which have my friend is black and white double-cover with lyrics inside, knows nothing about the color edition CORRECTION? You must listen to Black & White Television. Punishment is always Tull/Anderson good. ;D

CORRECTION? You must listen to Black & White Television. Punishment is always Tull/Anderson good. ;D I'm not convinced. Give it another try... ;D Something about this song reminds me of old crime dramas or mysteries. Of course I like "B&W Television". ;D It may not be a favorite of all time, but it has some cool sounds by Peter-John Vettese and Ian's lyrics. It was so strange when that album came out. I began to worry about Tull breaking up and Ian going solo. Thank goodness that never happened!

Hello Jim Tull, CORRECTION? You must listen to Black & White Television. Punishment is always Tull/Anderson good. ;D I'm not convinced. I began to worry about Tull breaking up and Ian going solo. Thank goodness that never happened! Repeat play. Walk Into Light complete album = complete joy here. ;D Spin the black circle. i1015.photobucket.com/albums/af278/tootull/IanAndersonWalkIntoLightLP.jpgOr shine the light...on a most wonderful '80's album. Still my favourite Ian Anderson solo album i1015.photobucket.com/albums/af278/tootull/IanAndersonWalkIntoLightBGOCD.jpg

I'm doing a bit of research concerning the counterfeit Sunshine Day 7" record on the yellow MGM label (the one with the large centre hole) with the correct name as Jethro Tull instead of the Jethro Toe error which denotes an original copy.
Anyone got a copy in their collection with the coloured vinyl (red/purple) as opposed to the ordinary black vinyl pressing ?

Been after this for years. An Australian EP issued in 1972 titled "This Is Jethro Tull". Incredible find Graham! Never heard or seen of this ever. Would this be close to having a "Jethro Toe" single in value?

Would this be close to having a "Jethro Toe" single in value? Not that valuable Jim, but doesn't crop up on ebay that often. This copy cost me £25 (funded by a small win on the Premium Bonds) and others that I've seen over the last few years have gone, sometimes, for a lot more. Would be interested if anyone else here has a copy

Found this image on the internet concerning the above which is very similar to the copy on the Electrocutas site

THAT is interesting...Is that John Evans on the sleeve or a recording that precedes his entry to Tull or is it David Palmer? It looks like David Palmer.

Definitely a recording that preceeds his re entry as it were. But also definitely John Evan. I would know that period hair helmet anywhere. Looked better a couple years later when he grew proper freak length hair. As in the shot on the inside of LITP, the one with Barrie with child, to me still the ultimate Tull shot, but been such a trip to see other shots from that session here and there. I will stake my cherubic Tull head on it. As opposed to my real head.

This "Bourée" single was released in Germany in summer 1970, so it`s no surprise that the photo features John Evan.

Of course both Jordi as Joan, I think the two best Tull collectors of Spain have given me permission to publish your vinyl and other Tull paraphernalia. After the holidays I'll get back to them because they have really amazing things, a surprise that even Anderson had not ever seen...

A 7" single from Argentina of "A Song For Jeffrey" from 1969. For some reason it was released with a speed of 33 rpm as opposed to 45 rpm. "Me Esta Destrozando" anyone ? In Argentina have the habit of translating the titles to "Spanish" even for me it is difficult to translate this ... The song to which he refers is "It's Breaking Me Up" from This Was Album

From Jordi's collection Living In The Past Club Mix Issued at a time when Chrysalis were attempting, and failing badly, to get the name Jethro Tull into the dance clubs as a hip band. Failed miserably thank heavens. There was also a "Living In The Dub" promo 12" single issued. www.electrocutas.co.uk/12/lid.jpgRare as rocking horse manure

Another A Passion Play, I saw some similarities in this thread but surely Graham can add something about this From Jordi's Collection.

An Italian 7" single release of interest to Jethro Tull and Gentle Giant collectors and variously described as either a juke box issue or a promo release (most probably used for both).

The Best Of Jethro Tull Masters Of Rock Are these actual sanctioned releases or just spanish bootlegs of studio albums? They look very cheaply made. Like the russian boots I've seen. Mark
