By way of congratulations to Germany for their World Cup win (what a great goal in extra time) here's one from Berlin in 1971.

War Child tour clothes and a 'My God' inserted in APP? Did they do My God sometimes in '73 or is it a 74/75 version (or 70/71) pasted in? See what I mean? Every boot deserves attention.

It's all six minutes + of My God. It's the first half of the show and the track listing and timings are: 1. A Passion Play (part 1) - 25'05" 2. Hare/spectacles - 5'04" 3. My God - 6'50" 4. A Passion Play (part 2) - 13'18" A bit of a muffled recording as if the taper had the microphone inside a coat to avoid security but I suppose back in the days of yore they didn't have small recorders.

After work today I have to make a round trip drive to Oregon to fetch my finally repaired car. Five hours each direction...please use international, magic, CD transponder to deliver variety of bootlegs ( say, last 10 shown on this thread) to make the pointless trip palatable. As it is I'm thinking: Aqualung 40th bonus disc, TAAB2, Both APP extended discs, War Child, Divinities and Homo E. to soundtrack the drive. For non Tull I'm bringing: Neil Young/Greendale, Lou Reed compilation, Eels/Blinking Lights and Grateful Dead/ Live Dead.

Wonderful. Some of these early recordings come with quite psychedelic artwork and, according to taste, can evoke a feeling for that era. The set list of these two concerts certainly sold the band in the States and elsewhere and for such a minimal set of around eight songs was in hindsight an excellent choice.
