A bit backwards I suppose, having been a member for several years, and having made a number of recent posts. However, for the very few interested:
1) I live near the Atlantic Ocean in Southern New Jersey, US.
2) I've been a Tull fan since 1988, and have seen around 60 Tull/ IA and related shows (Fairport, Martin & Willy Porter, etc). I've met every Tull member since 1988, with the exception of Dave Mattacks.
3) I'm a huge bootleg collector, with well over 100 boot CD's, a good 40+ DVD's, and a ton of band and related interviews. Always seeking more material, especially in the form of interviews. I've slowly begun discarding repetitive shows from the same tours, with the intent to find one or two that sound terrific, are complete, and with which I can tack a song or two to the end. Perhaps an example would be the Dot Com era. Most sets were the same, with minimal changes. So, I'd probably keep a few, then add "rarities" such as Hunt By Numbers, and Clasp, and THEN throwing out the full concerts those rarities came from. If anyone wants my "trash", let me know...they're welcome to it. Also, if anyone wishes to exchange their boot lists, please contact. NEVER BUY A BOOTLEG!!!
4) So that's me! Aren't you glad you asked?

Wow, funny to follow you grassysound. I too am in South Jersey, though I think nearer to the Delaware River than you. I wish I was on the ocean as I am originally from Long Island (and hope to get back). I'm a member of another Tull sites and found this one quite by happy accident. I've been a Tull fan since 1987, but have definitely seen fewer shows than you (15 or more) but love Fairport Convention as well! Never met a single member of Tull though, Love bootlegs, but prefer MP3s, so I'm hoping to find as many of them as possible. My other main interest (besides family and friends) is old school RPGs, of which I collect PDFs. It's nice to have it all in electronic form, easier to store! And share! And I'm a social worker who runs 24/7 programs for traumatized children, or folks with developmental disabilities. I prefer serving people with dd, but it depends on the whim of my CEO. Be well all!

Thank you for insightful and helpful feedback. Your concerns will be addressed at the next moderator's conference in the order in which they were received, to wit:
1. Our site is 'dead' 2. something is wrong with us 3. self check pulse 4. Please send sample of your crap ASAP for comparative purposes.
We'll let you know what we can do to improve on all fronts. Your happiness is our primary concern.

I crap more interesting $h1t than this. Peace out/. =-= Hi there pretend gangster! May I introduce you to the wonders of 75th and Cottage Grove in Chicago? See if you want to run that rancid mouth there or return to your white suburban comfortability when the going gets tough, which, it is, 24/7/365. Can't stand cowards who borrow the trappings and verse of the hood while knowing jack$h1t about it. I will raise that another mark. I don't think and damn sure all but know you are not a woman at all. Likely a snivelling coward who showed his face around here awhile back with untoward commentary, and got handed his "friggin" lunch, 99 per cent likelihood of a homeplace on the East Coast of the United States, up north. So in closing may I offer this suggestion...Get the f**k out of here and be very glad I am not here to place that suggestion face to face. Be glad to offer you a meeting place here in Chicago though I will be offline a little while in the midst of a move. Have I made it clear you are not welcome? Re Get the f**k out of here and in no wise show your face around here, you are speaking to someone who knows the hood for real, return to your own verbage coward.

Haven't gone anywhere B, just took 8 full days to make a move of 2 miles, totally ass kicking I must say. 5 things go seriously wrong on the day of the last posting, was not having it from anyone, least of all a troll the likes of which cost us the use of the first official board. Still won't be online until 8 tonite, now at library. That assumes my brand new modem does not meet the fate of my perfectly good 7 y.o. modem, which began to smoke upon attachment on Tuesday which caused a quality explosion of profanity. Howdy new neighbor.
