Thanks again for the nice welcome! Rebecca, I am sure I will enjoy being here. And Nonrabbit: I have seen JT last year in summer when they played in Austria. Of course I hope to see them again, can never get enough of them, especially of Ian Anderson! Yes, I live in a nice part of this world, a lot of nature, nice people and many decide to live here - just like your friend. I know St. Wolfgang, a nice area.

Hi yvonne. I used to play in a group, many many years ago and the drummer by the name of Len got back in touch with me last year after 30+ years of not knowing where we both were. He now lives in Austria at Neufelden with his second wife who is an artist. That's me, in 1967, on the right looking every bit the rock star (!) with Len in drums. Wish I'd ditched the glasses though

Covers or original material? What was the best gig you ever played? ...and the worst? Do you still play today? Any chance of a reunion gig?

What was your band called? The Daughters of Rev Narn ;D Did you ever record anything? Not with this group Covers or original material? Both. We did a splendid version of "Gloria" What was the best gig you ever played? A YMCA in Croydon, I think ...and the worst? TocH club in Addiscombe, also in Croydon Do you still play today? No Any chance of a reunion gig? Definitely not I was involved with the Croydon Folk Club, in a group called "Garden Party", for many years and through that I recorded with a band called Bicky Tockit (don't ask)which came out on a cassette called "Never mind the beer and bickies". Also recorded a session for "Folkweave" on BBC Radio 2 in '81 which I never had a copy of until I was going through my late Father's stuff and found he'd kept a copy and never told me. Fame never came our way but one of the "Garden Party" band members actually lives 10 miles from me in Callington and another in Hellston. We still meet once in a while to have a good laugh and importantly drink copious amounts of beer.

I have been to Britain twice so far - a longer time ago - and I spent wonderful times there - I like the people there sooooo much and can only tell the best things about the contacts I had.

Dare I ask? Yeah, I dare! What does "Nev Narn" mean? I joined the group after it had been named but apparently it was a headline in a newspaper about the daughters of a Reverend Narn. No, I'm none the wiser.

I won't be giving up just yet, but I'm not having any luck at all, I don't understand how there can be so few members at the moment, about five have joined since I joined, and that was only a few days ago. I go on IMDb a fair amount, and I've posted a couple of things on there about this forum, but, obviously, they don't like it if you keep doing it (to be fair, it is a bit cheeky) so I can't be constantly plastering all of its boards with Jethro Tull-related posts. Although many IMDb users are abusive (frighteningly so), it is one of the world's biggest forums, if not the biggest, so it's got to be a good place to find new recruits. In a few weeks, I'll most probably be able to persuade a couple of people I know in "the real world" to join, but, apart from that, there isn't much else I can do. I think a serious brainstorming session is needed at this point, if we can come up with some actual tactics we'd have a better chance of getting some more members. Obviously, the members will come eventually, but when I visit this forum I'm usually the only member logged in, so we definitely need more members, you know what they say: "the more the merrier", and the sooner the better, in my opinion. Any ideas, anyone?
