Salute to Equus Michael and Denmark !!! LET THERE BE TULL on September 11, 2021 LINK Jethro Tull was able to celebrate its 50th anniversary la 2018 and was and is a unique mix of folk, hard rock, blues and enigmatic lyrics, performed by the charismatic lead singer Ian Anderson, known for playing the transverse flute standing on one leg. Their most famous records include "Benefit", "Aqualung", "Thick As A Brick", "Living In The Past" and "Crest of a Knave". The latter won an American Grammy in 1989 in the category of "Best Hard Rock Album". A slightly strange category to win in, many thought including Metallica, who felt like favorites to win the award with their album "... And Justice For All". Today, after 40 million albums sold and over 2000 concerts - of which almost 40 in Denmark - only the foreground character Ian Anderson is left from the original cast of Jethro Tull. But he also tends to be the guarantor of total musical entertainment.

New album in January? It that's a fact, it is welcome news. Where ya been? That’s been a certainty for months now. Ian has to wait for vinyl cuts before the record company will release. The album has been finished for quite some time.

According to setlist.fm the 11th September show was billed as "The Prog Years" but they played the "IA plays JT" show setlist ? Anyone know why ?

According to setlist.fm the 11th September show was billed as "The Prog Years" but they played the "IA plays JT" show setlist ? Anyone know why ? Probably the same reason that Florian is still in the band rather than Joe Parish. Plus, Ian recently said in an interview that "The Prog Years" are from 1969 through 2021, so I don't expect that the prog years set list will be any different than the same old setlist, except maybe some cuts from the soon to be released Zealot Gene

From Graham Pickett... IAN SAID TONIGHT THAT THE BROADSWORD BOX SET IS ALMOST FINISHED. When it comes out besides the usual lovely things they are going to add 22 previously recorded songs that have never been released . All were recorded during the 1978 to 1980 period . Brilliant News
