www.hameln.de/wirtschaft/tagungen/rattenfaenger-halle/ Reviews from Dietmar with Laufi & Local News TULL LINK 1 TULL LINK 2 Well, that's it for now. It is nice to see that Tull are still going strong in 1999 - and an "end of the story" seems not to be in sight. I'm looking forward to see them at least a second time during their German summer tour on 16th June in Braunschweig (although this date is probably very long gone when you are reading this .... anytime?). And in October / November Tull will return to Europe and UK to present (hopefully) many, many more songs of a new album which might become a real "monster"....!
Best wishes to all you out there, stay loyal to our little rock legend - and many greetings, especially to members of the German Tull fan club BEGGAR'S FARM ... and to many of my other friends, who are also very tolerant in reading this ..... waffle .... ( ... sorry, no sponsors - no greetings to them ...) Sweet dreams ..., Dietmar "And it's always the giving that makes you what you are." (I.A.)

Also, interesting to see the brilliant ( but difficult) Buddy Rich on the same gig as Led Zeppelin, wonder if John Bonham and Buddy Rich met.......I remember hearing Ginger Baker implying that only jazz drummers were real drummers, not that rock crap.....

More: Four fabulous decades later... ACCORDING to Wikipedia it was 1976 but Simon Nicol isn’t so sure. “My money is on ’75,” he says, “but none of us are clear on it.” The only original member of Fairport Convention who is still with the band is considering the birth of one of Britain’s longest running pop festivals. This year may well mark 40 years since the performance that sowed the seeds for Fairport’s Cropredy Convention, a family friendly shindig that lures 20,000 people to a sloping swathe of countryside near Banbury for three days every August. Then again, it may well not.

Goose Lake International Music Festival lives on in memories, photosForty-six years ago today, what was a rather non-descript lake in eastern Jackson County was transformed into the ultimate concert experience. The Goose Lake International Music Festival, billed as "Michigan's Woodstock," officially opened on Aug. 7, 1970 in Leoni Township.
