This is some very cool lighting for sure! I was working for many years with stage lighting for local bands that needed help. My main joy was being inspired by groups like Tull, Pink Floyd, and Iron Maiden. Also, a show back in the early 70's called ... www.slsc.org/laserium

With all those cats being posted maybe it's time for a bird to be featured. This is Ollie after having a little bath. My Daughter decided to leave him behind when she fled the nest.

I went to the Sunderland Airshow yesterday with my trusty camera in hand and for me the star of the show was one of only two Lancaster bombers still flying. A magnificent aircraft!

I was on my way home last night from a visit to Doncaster to see my brother and as I had a little while to wait for my bus home I found a sturdy wall to set my camera on to get a photo of The Cathedral in Durham.

I was in Newcastle yesterday and there was one of those markets with stalls selling all kinds of international food and I came across this one and thought to myself, I wish Remy was here! So was it £6 well spent and, more importantly, was it tasty ?

So was it £6 well spent and, more importantly, was it tasty ? I'm ashamed to say, I ate that many free mince pies from a nearby stall and by then I'd ran out of money, I had no room or even 6 quid to eat that lovely looking Catalan food.
My apologies to the guy in the beige hat. It's good to confess.

I could not be in Newcastle yesterday, but I've sent one of my workers... We call this "do country" "fer país" In Spain there is a boycott against Catalan products, but the world is great. Do not worry when you come to Catalunya I'll invite you a good plate of catalan meatballs

Maybe we could share?
