Can’t believe we’re having conversations about not owning CD players in 2024. As mentioned, all DVD players play CDs.
Failing that, just buy one — you can get a reliable one for the price of a takeaway, or less.

Failing that, just buy one — you can get a reliable one for the price of a takeaway, or less. Agree with you mate 100% I have over 1,000 CD's, so I'm always going to have a CD player. I've got a good quality Marantz CD player, and a Marantz amp, and Wharfedale speakers for listening to my CD's. I recently bought a Brennan B2, which is like a CD jukebox so you rip your CD collection on to it and it then plays your collection without having to load CD's. A great piece of kit. I also have a Sony 5.1 Home Theatre system I bought over 20 years ago for watching movies, it has fantastic sound, and especially for the 5.1 Tull mixes on all the Steven Wilson box sets, is essential. Sadly, most people don't have CD players anymore, and not even DVD players, it's old hat.....most people stream music and watch movies on Netflix etc etc. PS - Check out the Bob Marley movie "One Love" in a modern cinema with the Dolby sound and huge screen, the Odeon for instance, it's an awesome movie with great sound

I have that on video tape..... Ian's vocals are not good on it, he sounds kind of nervous...I don't like it because of that
