blackpool promoted to the premier league!!!!!! i'm really pleased for the town. i remember going to watch them play blyth spartans in the fa cup about 15 years ago. i was struck by what a friendly club it was. me and my fellow press colleagues were give tea in the boardroom; i wonder if any of the old tull boys were at wembley today!?

Up the pool indeed Snaffler. How about this version by dear old Roy Harper - it's from a CD called "To Cry You a Song: A Collection of Tull Tales". It's a very good introduction to Tull music by several ex-Tullers and other rock luminaries.

From a Yank's perspective and a lover of football - if it's okay for me to answer - I'm looking forward to seeing Blackpool play next year.
Ian Holloway appears to be a good coach.
I like Dave Jones, too. Plus, I have a kid attending uni in Cardiff, so that would have been fun to have them in the Prems if they'd won.....

My grandmother, God rest her soul, went on holiday to Blackpool as a child and positively hated the place. Couldn't abide the place - too much noise, too many people etc. She was always the one for walking in the countryside and similar activities so it would have been only to be expected.
We had some friends over yesterday, both of them Tull fans, and we were discussing Roy Harper and after listening to HQ for the first time in many years it dawned on me that it's an album that's improved with time, rather like a vintage wine. I shall have to seek out more Harper albums and re-evaluate his music again.
