Just back from my childhood home and realized I missed the chance to lobby the local government and chamber of commerce to install a plaque at the site of MY first Tull gig...a rock and roll hellhole of the era when popular bands shared venues with rodeos and ice skating championships: The Denver Coliseum....site of the annual Western Stock Show.....or maybe a plaque should be erected where I first spoke to Ian....the equally charming 'Cow Palace' in San Francisco.

On the Colorado Chamber of Commerce's twitter site they are currently earmarking funds for a " multi plaque" commemorating your birthplace/first Tull gig. They are thinking of placing it just outside the "hellhole" next to where you threw up! (possibly scrolling that on the plaque as well) ;D

Thanks for posting Tootull. I still can't believe that this is the same person who I first saw all those years ago with headlines in the music press which went along the lines of "And now Ian Anderson expects us to think" and "Would you take this man home to meet mum?". OK I may have got the words wrong but you know what I'm getting at.
