The first of three RoIOs taken from the BBC Radio 3 documentary back in 1979. 2 cds per issue, this is parts 1-2. Artwork from Talk Tull. Second part 3-4 a little later - has anyone got the final part as it's one I don't have although I have all six parts on cassette, somewhere.

I have this in my HARD DRIVE Back in 2007 I knew very little about things like Dime-a-dozen and Utorrent. This was one of my earliest downloads. The artwork was not included so now I'm very happy to see it after all these years Thanks Graham !!!
On Part 1, the announcer says... "The BBC Presents : A Jethro Tull Story ... A 6 Part radio documentary covering 10 years in the musical life of one of the world's leading and most original ROCK BANDS !"
"Jethro Tull, a band which in the 10 years of it's existance, has achieved 12 gold albums which has sold nearly 20 million copies between them and has performed before capacity audiences all over the world."
"However, only one man has remained in the band throughout their continuing success story. And only one name comes to mind, when Jethro Tull is mentioned. That name is Ian Anderson."
"The band's singer, composer, lyricist, producer, and flautist!"
All this is being said with "Living In The Past" is being played in the background. There are 26 tracks on this first part.

Takklesoft and TalkTull were two Tull sites dedicated to bootleg album artwork, both sadly no longer exist which is a great shame. There were some fans who downloaded everything from those two sites so I'm hoping that at some stage the artwork will be downloaded again.

Someone put a lot of effort in the Artwork A Ok ! How SWEET it is ! 1 hour 49 minutes 20 seconds Ah, that was me, a long time ago to give the photos I took on that tour and which I quite liked a nice frame. I enjoy doing those things...there are quite a few Tull photos I took and artworks for covers floating around in the world and the net. I am glad you enjoy it!

Woke up in Hamburg that morning. Called my boss at SPAR and said I was sick...took a train to edge of town, hitchiked to Dortmund, snuck in during soundcheck and gained Ian and Ken Wylie's ire for tossing a frisbee with some locals but still managed to remain indoors and assign myself a great seat. Excellent concert for excellent crowd. Hitchiked back to HH in time for work the next morning...and, siver-lining, obviously looked like I had needed a day off the day before.

Thank God for German concert posters that day that listed local and all other dates....how else might I have known about gig in pre-internet cave dwelling days ? I already had tickets for two nights later that week...bit Dortmund concert irresistable anyway. I can still see the poster on the U-bahn platform that talked me out of work and onto autobahn to Dortmund.

Is 'Talking' the name of a new Martin Barre song? And is it really good enough to be played 6 times during their current set? maybe they want to get it right ? Alternate versions?

I don't know why entrepreneurs nasty bootleggers do the above to tracklistings when the "banter" between songs can be leading up to the next musical treat.
