This was the same set list I saw in Charlotte on Rocktober 3rd... No complete H.E. 'sigh' Still it was worth every intense and surreal Tullian moment which occurs everytime they perform!

JETHRO TULL Rockin' on August 15th, 2007 with Lukas Was Opera Leśna / The Forest Opera Sopot, Poland Open air show. Capacity: 4.329 TULL LINK Lukas Was: Thanks for bringing the fantastic memories back, Jim! Let’s face the truth: musically it wasn’t the best Tull I ever seen, wasn’t that bad, but saw Ian and band in better musical shape quite few times… Having said that: that was perhaps the nicest show I ever attended! Just imagine that! Middle of summer season, general atmosphere, fantastic weather, fresh breath of near Baltic sea, beautiful forest surrounding the venue… I was in great mood.
Working abroad in Sweden, finishing studies in Poland at same time… Was so lucky guy! I was there with friends. Few hours before the gig I sang “Cheerio” and “Pigeon Flying Over Berlin Zoo” at the seaside, after few chilling beers and fresh grilled fish. Also, some unknown folks heard it and applauded, including few little boys “building castles by the sea”! (You know where the quote comes from!) One of these finest days in my life… It was one-off concert. Ian Anderson also was very relaxed. He mentioned his 60th birthday, woods surrounding the Forest Opera, “young pretty Polish girls” and Polish beer. Introduced James Duncan as his son. The lettering on John O’Hara’s keyboards said Poland instead of Roland. I especially liked still unreleased folk-prog-rocktune “Donkey And The Drum”, “My Sunday Feeling” and King Henry XVIII of England’s “Pastime In Good Company”.
After the show my pal spotted James Duncan walking on mall with some fine chicks! You got the mood? More to read in my Tull-related book Skały na drodze. If you know Polish language! I can’t wait to repeat the JT experience in Forest Opera, Sopot in June that year! All the best from Poland!
