I've been listening to Divinities this week, both the original release and a boot of the Toronto show (3.6.95) and I'd must admit I'd forgotten just exactly how good it really is. I missed the UK show at Shephards Bush due to work schedules and the promise of a shift swap which never happened so I'd like to hear if anyone here went to any of the shows. It's strange not to hear Martin playing on many of the Tull standards from the 2nd half of the live show I've been listening to but the official release is still outstanding, even after 14+ years.
Certainly Andy Giddings is up there with the best of them in the keyboard stakes.

Divinities is a fine piece of work. This is what an Ian Anderson solo album should be; something different from what he does with Tull. It's a really great musical work that marks a highlight in Ian's career.
But Andrew Giddings deserves more credit than he got. This really was a collaboration between Andrew and Ian.

Much love for Divinities here. Great memory - I was at the Massey Hall Toronto show in the front row with my wife. The second part of the concert = a great Tull time for all. The show was being video taped. My wife wished out loud during the intermission for Heavy Horses and was very happy when the second half started off with this tune. This was an acoustic treat. Tull has played to packed houses at Massey with an extra night added during the 'A Little Light Music' tour, however there were many empty seats for this solo performance. cheers! www.ministry-of-information.co.uk/setlist/95.htm3/6/95 Massey Hall Toronto, Canada In A Stone Circle, In Sight Of The Minaret, In A Black Box, In The Grip Of Stronger Stuff, In Maternal Grace, In The Moneylender's Temple, In The Defence Of Faiths, At Their Father's Knee, En Afrique, In The Olive Garden, In The Pay Of Spain, In The Times Of India (Bombay Valentine), (intermission) Heavy Horses, Life Is A Long Song, Sossity: You're A Woman/Reasons For Waiting/Sossity, Wond'ring Aloud, Cheap Day Return, Nursie, Dun Ringill, She Moves Through The Fair/Dust Devils, Jack-In-The-Green, Bourée, Aqualung, Locomotive Breath
