hi, anyone els got tull related tats ? i got this done for a birthday a few years ago but its still not quite finished any ideas of what to put around it ? ( i cant make up my mind !! ).  Attachments:

I have, on my left shoulder, the Passion Play comedy/tragedy logo with TULL underneath. I got it in the reeperbahn, in hamburg, in 1989...when i showed it to Ian, he said...see Kenny, the true fans get genital tattoos. Your tat is great, Tullite !!!!
I have often explained to people, a tattoo is something you get when you are so sure of something, you don't fear regretting it at anytime in your life....my 3 tats are: the Tull tattoo (my second) a star of david in a bicycle wheel (Kikes on Bikes-my first) and a small branch with three tiny leaves....a copy of the tattoo on the body of the woman I loved most (she's long gone...it was my third and last tattoo..I don't regret it) I might get a tat honoring my daughter.

If you want to add to it I would add something personal like an image from your fav album or something to do with your background ie cultural/religious etc. eg if it was mine I would put a celtic swiggle  somewhere around the flute or a Nordic/Norse squiggle if Broadsword was your fav album. Not the usual run of the mill squiggle either something designed by yourself maybe? |

thanks for your replies, i dident want normal run of the mill tat so i told the tattoo guy to draw me this and it turned out ok its on the inside of my arm ( just thought i would say cus pic looks like its on my leg !! ) i was thinking of having " tull " in celtic letters and some musical notes coming out of the flute hopeing to get it finished before next uk tour. cheers.

Never been one for tattoos. My son-in-law has them down one arm (a sort of intertwinned motif of some mock-celtic kind) and he's always trying to get me to have one. If I did it would be a smallish one on the left shoulder with the logo the band used a few years ago |

I have always wanted a Tull tat but my hubby has strongly advised against it so I've settled for a gigantic Tull sticker on the back window of my car. he talked me out of getting several tats, especially a Dead tat, now I am kind of glad. Going to be 40 next year, I'm sure no one wants to see a curmudgeon like me with a sagging rock band tat. I have 3 tats where no one will ever see which is probably a good idea. Although I still dream of having Ian inked on my skin standing on one leg, playing his flute. People see my car decal and say....what is Tull? for shame. what is Tull.....ugh

Unless you had one previously most spouses would get upset and tell you it's too late. 
Decals however are very economical and can actually attract more attention in public...
also a fresh TULL Shirt really gets noticed when you go to the movies or shopping. |
