I recently bought the DVD of Gentle Giant performing at the Golders Green Hippodrome as part of the Sight And Sound In Concert TV show.
It's a very nicely packaged product - you get the concert in full, plus an interesting commentary from band. There are also a few other TV bits and pieces, and a CD of the concert.
I wonder why Ian doesn't do the same with Tull's performance on the same show? I know it's available on YouTube, but a good version with cleaned up audio, plus a commentary from the lineup of the time and some other goodies would surely find an audience - I know I'd buy it.
The rights to the broadcast can't be that expensive to acquire - if Gentle Giant were able to make money from it, then wouldn't Tull be able to make even more?

I agree and we'd all buy it ;D Seem to remember that there was a campaign to have it released in the early nineties but problems arose due to the copyright etc concerning various members who did not want it released. Why, I don't know. IMO it would make a great and fitting tribute to John Glascock. More details here: jollyjoke.blogspot.com/2008/06/jethro-tull-sight-and-sound-in-concert.html
