Mmm, crap show but the 5mins of Ian was good. Come on Ian, take a year off, write that book and come back with a killer new album.

I would of loved it if they had announced the time of the interview at the start of the show. The music they played wasn't my sort of music, it was worth listening to it for the interview though.

Thanks for the welcome guys It wasn't the greatest interview but they never are on Radio 2. But having said that it's always good to hear Ian even if it is talking about fish and as for Lisa Tarbuck she butted in on Ian a number of times . I will let you know now the evening goes. I'm going there a bit before the concert to have a look around the Flutewize event. Being a player myself I'm sure to pick up something even if it's only a new cloth to clean my pride & joy ;D Is anyone else going ?

I know Col is going and I should be there and we've arranged to try and meet in the bar at the venue before the concert. Get to the bar and see if you can see some old(ish) fans wearing Tull items and that could be us. Failing that just say in a loud voice "anyone from the Tull forum?" and you'll probably get some sort of response ;D

As a flute player myself I'd love to be going to the flutewise event and the Ian Anderson show in the evening. Penury, as ever, is the obstacle. Well, that and the fact that I have been suffering from sciatica for almost four weeks now and regular ambulation is just not what it used to be for me. Hope you all have a great time at the show on Sunday! Brian.

I'm really sorry to here that I can't make all of the Flutewise event but I will try to see some of it before the show in the Foyer (free bit) before Ian's show. I hope your better soon.

Thanks for the sympathy. Hopefully I'll recover soon. I wonder what tunes they will play on Sunday evening - also in terms of the duets... Ian Anderson will be joined by three flute player guests; Abigail Burrows, Ian Clarke and Teymour Housego. The photo below was added to Abigail Burrows site on 20 January 2009. Abigail Burrows with Ian Anderson and Ian Clarke. Listening to Teymour Housego at the moment - beautiful and deep. *see link below for Teymour Housego's myspace page. A night of magical and sparkling music approaches... Abigail Burrows website; www.abigailburrows.com/---- Ian Clarke www.ianclarke.net/----- Teymour Housego www.myspace.com/teymourhousego--- Brian.

Add me to the list of far-flung correspondents who wish you well and hope you recover ambulation and pocket change...maybe we could organize a Tull Ticket Scholarship for forum members who can't afford a gig.
