How will he write a song about this trip? The only thing that rhymes with Minsk is another Russian city: Pinsk...I thinks

Perhaps someone understands Russian here :-) And if not, no problem, I think the photos of Ian are great - and he is smiling!!! www.interfax.by/article/40322

Da, Spahceeba...khorosho gavno! I take it to mean "yes it is broken and it hurts but I'll survive" or perhaps not as the case may be. The final word looks suspiciously like the Polish for poo so maybe my translation is a trifle inaccurate

Perhaps someone understands Russian here :-) I studied Russian at school but spent most of the time working out how to write swear words using the Cyrillic alphabet and, needless to say, failed the course! Cheers, Jioffe.

Apparently he's severed a tendon in his pinkie which prevents him playing guitar at present but he can play the flute wearing a splint (but why his flute needs a splint is not known!). It happened while he was putting the cat out! Son James has also sustained an injury - to his shoulder while snowboarding, so no Fancy Toys due to fancy toys! Cheers, Jioffe.

I'm more than a little late with this topic. How did he manage to injure his finger putting the cat out? Was the cat ok ? Also - was he still up in the wee sma' hours writing songs when the aforementioned cat wanted a p***? Maybe a Q&A with the cat ? Ps Hope you're finger get's better soon!

Managed to get a link up with the cat, who speaks fluent Russian and kindly translated the news report. i44.images obliterated by tinypic/fbdnqd.jpg[/IMG] He's saying here that he's currently working on song number 5 on the new album... i41.images obliterated by tinypic/2814i85.jpg[/IMG] Basically, no time frame on song No 6.. i39.images obliterated by tinypic/1z14jl1.jpg[/IMG] "Thank you und Guten Tag" (think the cat got distracted here!) Disclaimer The cat and any of the said cat's associates have absolutely no understanding of Russian and just made it up.
