...could not resist posting this... Totull tootull. ;D week.manoramaonline.com/cgi-bin/MMOnline.dll/portal/ep/theWeekContent.do?sectionName=Entertainment&contentId=4891388&programId=1073754907&pageTypeId=1073754893&contentType=EDITORIALThank you for the greetings! "Totull treat" - CONCERT: JETHRO TULL By Anand Mathew "Kolkata might be charmed by Diego Maradona, but the city's music fans are still hung over Jethro Tull's strains. The cult band, led by its star piper Ian Anderson, along with the lady with the sitar, Anoushka Shankar, made the City of Joy swing and sway. I, an avid Tull fan, was there at the Science City Auditorium on November 27 to see them perform live. Some 2,000 fans landed to watch the show. Anderson with David Goodier on the bass, Martin Barre on the lead guitar, Doanne Perry on the drums and keyboardist John O'Hara made up the Tull. The concert started with Anoushka's band performing two ragas. Then came the Tull with its classic numbers. Anderson juggled the flute and the ukulele, sang in deep baritone, and conducted the show, leading the way to heaven. The only minus was the venue. Listening to good old rock 'n' roll sitting in a theatre is something that I am still coming to terms with." Thank you for the greetings! I like my Tull served in this order: 1. Minstrel In The Gallery 2.Thick As A Brick 3. A Passion Play 4. Stand Up 5. The Broadsword & The Beast 6.Benefit 7. Catfish Rising 8. WarChild 9. Heavy Horses 10.Songs From The Wood 11.Stormwatch 12.Christmas Album 13.Roots To Branches 14.Too Old To Rock'n'Roll: Too Young To Die 15.A 16.Under Wraps 17.Rock Island 18.Crest Of A Knave 19.Dot Com 20.This Was 21.Aqualung Ian Anderson solo: 1.Rupi's Dance 2.SLOB 3.Walk Into Light 4.Divinities ...then after a rest, Living In The Past & Nightcap. LOL Cheers!

How did War Child get unmoored from it's cohorts at the top of the list?

Hey, hey, steelmonkey. I thought that after I posted - Of course WarChild should follow APP - I should know better posting this way on a Tull board - I stand corrected, even if it is my request. LOL If I had to choose only one Tull album it would be "Minstrel In the Gallery". btw: As I await game 7 of the NHL finals (Penguins at Wings) I had this thought: Ian Anderson certainly did not intend the song. "A Raft Of Penguins" for the NHL. However, I think it applies nicely to the tension in the air for game 7, at least it sounds that way from here. www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showpost.php?p=4504200&postcount=665cheers!

Go Penguins...who can support a team that tosses octopi on the ice? I'm a bitter shark fan...listened to Baker St Muse this morning, loud and attentively...could that ever get stale? I think not!

Delving into Jethro Tull's song on life. www.aish.com/ci/a/69744092.htmlAt this point this link I posted was deleted at SHtv - too much of the religious themed music I'm guessing. Actually I'm laughing like the beginning of Up To Me, all talk of Aqualung should be banned as such. God bless!
