Thks Dan, hadn't realised they'd been playing it. It's exactly what Ian should be doing if he's going to continue the never-ending tour: bring out old rarities; keep us surprised Though listening to it, I'd rather hear a 'full band' rock version! But maybe next time?

It's nice that guys also play such rarities, but personally I rather don't like this song. It's boring and uninspired. However, I find the new live version being slightly better than original studio version.

I agree...from that era/ style i would rather here man of principle or jack-a-lynn ( not as rare) but the whole idea of back catalog surprises is good and i hope it continues and we get songs like this between the usual live suspects.

Maybe it's been dusted down as it's a fairly topical subject at the moment, what with us all being skint. I didn't know it had been played recently either so it was a nice surprise for me to hear it at St Brides.
