Back in 1999 before Dot Com was released Mr. Anderson put some demo recordings of a few of the songs on the official website. I think the songs were Spiral and Black Mambo. I was wondering if any Tull fans out there had the foresight to make copies of this stuff - I'd love to hear them again.
Similarly, did anyone ever save old webpages from the official site back then? It would be quite nostalgic to see them again. I suppose this is one of the things about the internet - a lot of stuff is quite ephemeral. I can't really imagine many people would have thought to save any of this stuff from nearly 10 years ago...

Try and find a boot called "The Seed Drill Ditties" which has the following from the Dot Com work in progress/demos taken from the official site. Spiral (02.00), Dot Com (02.22), Hunt By Numbers (01.50) and Black Mamba (01.08).
The only archive of web pages that I know of are those which were reprinted by Dave Rees in A New Day when the latest news section was updated quite regularly.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for that boot.
