Oct 24, 2020 Cat chats with Ian Anderson LINK 1 LINK 2 NEW INTERVIEW! The one with Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson. I had the utter pleasure of chatting with one of music’s greats...the incredible Ian Anderson. Ian is the cat that walks by himself despite leading one of the most iconic, not to mention successful, bands of all time. Charismatic frontman, virtuoso flautist and composer, Ian has been steadfast through Jethro Tull’s many musical incarnations, which, with its idiosyncratic blend of progressive rock, hard rock and folk music, has clocked up some 30-odd albums and sales totalling more than 50 million. After forty years at the bottom, at the top and various points in between, Jethro Tull is still performing internationally, restrictions permitting, even if Ian does continue to tread the solitary path whenever he can. Listen and enjoy...

Ian kindly supported the charity's 20th Anniversary campaign throughout 2020, which aimed to find homes for the 20 most 'Overlooked' cats in rescue. Two beautiful "kitties"! I hope that they get adopted soon. We have had eight cats and dogs over the years, all rescues and all with their share of issues. But with love and patience, they give back so much love. We have said that we believe that animals are what God intended Man to be, but has fallen woefully short. Just another reason to love Ian Anderson......he loves cats!! God Bless Them All!!

🌟 Fur-Ever Friends 🌟 Friends of the ORADEA Cats 🐾 With almost 14 years of dedicated activity, the Friends of Cats Association is a small but strong shelter that has survived despite all the challenges! 🐾 Operating entirely on a volunteer basis, these wonderful people have cared for hundreds of cats, managing everything from fundraising, organizing hand-made fairs, cleaning, trips to the vet and administration. 💪 They are supported by special people, PEOPLE LIKE YOU, who help whenever they have the opportunity. And don't forget: every gesture counts! 🐱 💖 Special shout-out to Ian Anderson, who not only contributed to one of the tracks on our upcoming album, but is also a huge cat lover! Over time, he saved numerous animals, and recently adopted the Friends of Cats Association from Oradea, actively getting involved in our campaign. We are eternally grateful! 🙏

We are honored to announce that for one of the new songs from our upcoming album, we have a very special guest: the legendary Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull . As the band’s leader, primary songwriter, singer, acoustic guitarist, and the only continuous member of Jethro Tull, Ian is renowned for introducing the flute to rock music. With over 60 million records sold, 11 gold and 5 platinum albums and a Grammy to his name, Ian has graciously accepted our invitation to lend his magic flute to the track “A Brighter Day.”
