This one always baffled me. The credits on the album "A" always have been: IA - vocals a & flute MB - guitar DP - bass MC - drums ' special guest EJ - keyboards & elec violin' But I've always felt that it must/has to be Ian playing acoustic guitar on "Working John....." and maybe elsewhere. It just SOUNDS so much like him

Thanks, Mad. This surprises me b/c on all Tull albums Ian has always seemed to go to great lengths to tell us every specific intrument he plays on it (even to the point of OVER-emphasising it.)
Examples: on a few albums, it states Ian plays "occasional electric guitar" or, on Under Wraps, it says he plays "Drums" (actually computerized programme). on "Stormwatch" it lists him as playing "Bass guitar" and only at the very bottom, in small letters does it show J Glasscock playing bass on 3 tracks. lol
