I recently heard a Celtic Christmas CD which contains a song that was (in part) Jethro Tull's "Christmas Song." The easiest way to describe what was "covered" would be the opening flute part. That part was played repeatedly. But the remainder of the song sounded nothing like the vocal section at all. So hence the question, is Tull's Christmas Song totally original, or is that opening flute part in fact possibly "borrowed" from some other arrangement? Cheers.
