Well My God!! ( warning Tull tongues)
I didn't think we were anywhere near that ten year anniversary yet.
Bloody 'ell. I can remember exactly where I was(don't say in front of a computer)when I got the call from Col. Didn't hesitate for a second to join in. It came at a time when the Chat Room was put out to dry and although Tullskull had set up a lovely corner for Tullfans and they are my life long friends too, I for one, wanted to see something a bit bigger that could encompass everything about Tull in one place. That's what this place is - everything under one roof. Past, present and future. Where else would you find all the information about the band with comments from fans, videos, rare memorabilia etc etc all in one place?
Thanks to Graham for all he does. Thanks to John and Bernie. Thanks to everyone who have become my friends. Thanks to all who post and view.
I'm in an institution.

A funny thing happened on my way to the Jethro Tull Forum...
I was uncertain of many things in the world of Chat Groups and became the object of scorn. My love of TULL was looked at with disdain by those who wished I had never been born
When I found my way to this place of musical enlightenment my life changed for the better. There are people all over the world just like me who love TULL no matter what the weather...
After 3 years I realize this was where I always should have been and the future is now! To everyone that rocks here thank you for all the great posts about a guy who invented a plow.
Something familiar, something peculiar, something for everyone: TULL PARTY tonight. Something APPealing, something APPalling, something for everyone: TULL PARTY TONIGHT! Happy 10th Anniversary Jethro Tull Forum !

Happy Forum anniversary...I don't think I need to say what a pleasurable part of my daily life this forum is. Retro thanks to Colin for all his foundation work and ongoing thanks to the three , real, hard-working moderators who allow me the honorary title of far flung moderator and thank you to all our regulars and irregulars who make every day fun and impassioned in our Tull club. My kid is 11 now which means she will soon be able to teach me how to post pictures, you tube videos and websites. Not sure she will help me...but there is a chance.

Nights of winter turn me cold -- fears of dying, getting old. We ran the race and the race was won by running slowly.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE FORUM!
And congratulations for maintaining high interest and involvement for participants. Tull online, I remember first finding the St. Cleve website, then some other Tull-linked chat site that got taken over by freaks and spammers and disappeared, apparently. Then others popped up on the Tull Ring, and this one seems a first choice for news and sharing knowledge of all things Tull and off on many fun tangents from there.

I know Canada's a big place but are you anywhere near where the horrible fires are/where? The fire itself is about a 7 hr drive north of me. Calgary and Edmonton have taken in 1000's of evacuees, staying at universities, hotels with reduced rates, it was all done in the blink of an eye, the fire grew from infant to "the beast" that marched through town, across a wide river and is still growing and spreading to the south, east and north. Some people driving out said the fire was leaping across the highway and the heat was getting right into vehicles, and many videos show that. People left with nothing and 1000's of homes are now gone. The fire was feeding off a huge forest fuel base, very dry conditions, high heat and plenty of wind. Fortunately we've had a change of weather to much cooler and with sporadic light rain, but while that helps, it's too late for Fort McMurray. People won't be let back in for many days yet, there are hot spots everywhere to put out first. It's still in the shock stage, over the next few weeks we'll see what's forced to change in terms of what people will be doing and estimates on rebuilding. Oil price is still way down, people aren't feeling extra resilient right now, in the oil biz.

Thank you futureshock - much appreciated here at Tull Towers There are a host of Tull sites which have disappeared, some very good ones such as Takklesoft (which had bootleg artwork) and TalkTull which was a great site, also with their own take on bootleg artwork. Electrocutas is still there but stopped updating about 4 - 6 years ago but is still a great source of reference material and of course there's also Laufi's site and the continental sites such as Tullianos, Itullians and Bert Maesen's Dutch fan club so the Tull "brand" is still well represented on the web.

Oil price is still way down, people aren't feeling extra resilient right now, in the oil biz. Absolutely devastating. It seemed to be every night in the news and that's us just watching it!! Can't imagine going through something like that with no choice but to watch it destroy in its fury.
