;D ....So, Ian announces that it was his birthday(61). Then says an audience member would like to come on stage. I thought this was an act but it was legit. The guy said there was someone in the audience he needs to come on stage. He says her name, the lites scour the crowd, they escort her onto the stage. The guy says..."...I was determined to do this @ a Tull concert and , since it's alsio Ian's birthday, 'Will You Marry Me'?
The girl hesitates as Ian tells her (ha ha!):
"Now I must let you know that the band has reheased a FUNERAL piece to do after you answer".

I was there, I thought that the woman was already back stage, because she came right out I did not see the light scour the crowd looking for her.
I first thought the guy was going to tell everyone to sing Happy Birthday. I did see the light go over the crowd when he announced his birthday, and I did hear some singing then, but it was all incoherent since people were singing at different times and some probably drunk so it sounded more like "Happyprewojmvnaklqhkjhelg!" Like if Corky was there.

Serious? I could have totally chilled with Fingas again? Darn! Do you know if he got good seats? This was the first time in many years that I did not.
But actually, this was my 8th time seeing Tull, and it was really great to hear songs that I'd never heard played live before. That was definitely the best part. Songs I thought I'd never hear. I really liked the backdrop with all the old pictures. It was a different experience, not the same, like no Protect and Survive/Cheerio for the last song. Also did it seem like he cut the jokes and stories between songs way back? But that was my experience.

Don't know much about Fingas except that he was there. I on the other hand was not. So at least I didn't get into trouble. ;D

Well yeah, Locomotive was last though, so that's kind of traditional. But basically had been hearing the same stuff since 99, the first time I saw them. This time I got to hear Heavy Horses which I've never heard live. That made me happy. And With You There To Help Me. Too Old. Song for Jeffrey. Dharma. I think I already said this stuff didn't I? So never mind....
We could've gotten into trouble together though! Like in Albany and Prov.
I remember in Prov, where you were sitting, Fingas was trying to help me over the gate thing, and we clunked heads and I fell down. Then I think we got yelled at. haaa

This was outside in the rain. I was relentless in working my "art of persuasion" over him as I tried to get him to send a message to Andy that you were there. Look forward to your email.
