One of the worst results of graphic design I've ever seen, unfortunately. JG

One of the worst results of graphic design I've ever seen, unfortunately. JG Certainly not one of the better ones I've seen in my travels but apparently and according to Burning Shed "...the Ian Anderson / Jethro Tull signed poster is very nearly sold out..."

So the question is who orders and buys such stuff? JG

So the question is who orders and buys such stuff? JG I suppose the argument could be along the lines of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" - some would like it and some will not. If push comes to shove I'm in the latter group. Interesting to know Forum members favourite Tull poster . . . .

I don't like the 2017 poster , either....looks like a fairly lazy visit to a kids' watercoloring kit.

2 Priceless Backstage Passes from TULL '77 & '87 by Drew Stawin The 1st photo pass I was ever granted was 3/21/77, 40 years ago next week, and it was for Jethro Tull at Cobo Hall in Detroit. I was in 12th grade. So cool that almost 40 years to the day later I will be photographing the legendary Martin Barre again. Martin was a huge part of Jethro Tull from 1969 to 2011.

As a "thank you" for their help with promoting several Jethro Tull and Ian Anderson releases as "street teams", Roadrunner Records made this exclusive CD for members of the German Jethro Tull fanclub "Beggars Farm". It features otherwise unavailable live recordings straight from the mixing desk of the 2003 European tour. Limited to 300 copies.

metalheadzone.com/led-zeppelins-jimmy-page-reveals-poorly-written-band-name-poster/LED ZEPPELIN’S JIMMY PAGE REVEALS POORLY WRITTEN BAND NAME POSTERBy Enes K. August 3, 2019 The iconic guitarist of Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page shared yet another ‘On This Day’ post on his official Instagram page and revealed an ‘incredible psychedelic poster’ they used for their Santa Barbara show at The Fairgrounds Arena. Here is the story of the photo: “On this day in 1969, Led Zeppelin played the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, CA – look at this incredible psychedelic poster for the show. jethrotull _ supported us that day and also on a number of dates in the US: I thought they were really good and Ian Anderson is an excellent songwriter.” As you will see below, the poster is poorly written: They wrote, Led Zepplin instead of Led Zeppelin on the poster. A user named ledzeppelin_page noticed the mistake: “Led Zeppelin didn’t play it was Led Zepplin 😂” You can see the photo below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnNhVMt8I7QLed Zeppelin Concert Poster 1969 Jethro Tull - How To Authenticate 2,365 views PosterCentral Published on Sep 13, 2011
