If I remember correctly was the first show in the U.S.A. with orchestra that year on tour. Stayed at a motel about a mile from Kresge Auditorium. Spoke with the owner of the motel when we arrived before the show and was told that all the other rooms had Traverse Symphony Orchestra members. The owner also told me that she would walk by each room and could hear the members rehearsing with their instruments. Also there was this young woman(early 20's) that had left her seat and was sitting in the aisle by the stage and in a break between songs told Ian "I love you." Ian gave a comical response and within a few minutes security told her she had to go to her seat.
