A rare recording of "WarChild Suite". This instrumental arrangement was played at most of the Tull concerts in 1975. Not sure which concert this came from, any idea anyone?..............Enjoy

I agree with Dan that it's "Live Seattle 1975" because I listened to my collection of '75 shows, all one of them, and several distinctive audience noises correspond pretty well. However according to the "Ministry of Information" website and the info below, the date was July 25. Info accompanying the bootleg: "Artist: Jethro Tull Date: 1975-07-25 Location: Seattle, WA Venue: Seattle Center Coliseum Source: Audience Lineage: Master Reels @ full track mono>Tandberg Model 11>Wavelab 96/24 1ch mono>wav 44.1/16 2ch mono>flac Taping Gear: Tandberg Model 11 R2R deck, Sony ECM-22P mic Taped and Transferred By: JEMS
Notes: JEMS master recording. This is an excellent sounding recording. This show captures Jethro Tull touring in support of their War Child album. This recording has circulated for years but this is the first time the master reels have ever been properly digitized (April 2010). This is an excellent show and performance with an early taste of an excerpt of Minstrel In The Gallery which would not be released until later in 75. Ian's in between song banter at this show is as entertaining if not more entertaining than music. Also of note this show took place on the 25th of July not the 27th as some other sources have speculated in the past. "

It's from the bootleg which is readily available on the internet. There was no show on 27 July '75 as the Ministry confirms.

I remember hearing this at a concert around that time. I don't remember where. Anyway, it was very nice to hear it again (without the noise of a wild audience!) Thanks! I went to hear the music. My friends were disappointed in me. They missed some great music. Later that week, I wanted to talk about the concert again - they only faintly remembered what had happened there.....
