Congrats. With respect I would lay off the use of something like the notion of "secret Tull cliques" as happily in recent days the amount of verbal assaults between both boards had receeded. Do understand that I am no better, this is in no way any sort of character assessment, just a wish to let all those bad feelings to recede. I say this knowing that if all parties involved were to meet each other not knowing anything of each other they would be friends, both boards are wonderful. While I know no specific target was mentioned, I also know the way that comment will be perceived, and its a flame stoker. But mostly understand that I am no better, and likely not as good. While not a deeply practicing Christian, some of what we are taught in that book rings completely true, likely all of it. In particular here the Biblical notion that if your brother strikes u on one cheek, than offer the other one to be struck. Basically, don't say jack! (Believe me I know, in real time it is next to impossible to do)

Where I was coming from was that when I started internet Tullin I came across - especially on the LiveChat - some right little know it all's who seemed a bit smug and all knowing and it could put someone off who just wanted to reminisce or learn about the band without any pretence. I would hate to think someone didn't want to join in because they felt they might not know dates/lyrics or places

Wow P point taken and of course respected, wish I had not said jack, though such is the depth of your character I am certain u took no offence. And yeah I know precisely the sort of thing u are referring to , galls me to the gills when I see it.

Thanks TT. The Forum is a "labour of love" and with all the other worthy Jethro Tull sites on the internet, of all shapes and sizes, speaks volumes for the continuing regard that IA, together with all the past and present members of Tull, has around the world and their contribution to our listening pleasure.
Long may it continue for us and future generations.

Oh, and by the way: happy birthday, forum! Thank you six3ten and a warm welcome to the Jethro Tull Forum. It's been a hectic five years and all credit to Col who stared the Site way back when and to everybody who's contributed over the years. Regarding your query re. the calendar, I've added IA's birthday to it and we'll get around to adding past and present members birthdays when time permits. Cheers Maddog/Graham

This is my favorite website...the only one i check everyday and the only virtual community I have ever wanted to be part of...let's face it....just between us....Tull fans are special........no, really! That we are somewhat fewer and further apart than in the past doesn't change a thing....I feel so lucky to have a passion in my life this strong and other fans , far flung or near, to share with.
