With the 2011 induction ceremony set to take place this coming Monday to honor another class of rock and roll legends, it's also time to take note again of who was snubbed from the RnR Hall of Fame. So while you won't find these artists' plaques in Cleveland, this mix has cuts from some of the best songwriters, musicians and performers of the 20th century. Others here have enjoyed lengthy, productive careers on both sides of the mixing console, while still others have performed such noble deeds as, for example, inventing the power chord. And just so you don't say I didn't warn you, America will become South Canada if Rush doesn't get in by 2012.
Congrats to all the 2010 inductees, and to the folks on this list, for what it's worth, I think you've done more for rock and roll than Madonna has. So congrats on that!
