So sorry to pass along this shocking news just read on Verns Talk Tull board that one of the great friends of the Jethro Tull tape trading community has passed away at the age of 49. Although I see he has only contributed here twice, it was quite recent as he was positively ravenous to get 2010 Tull, and used his 2 visits to share this music with us total strangers. I only traded with Wenny once, some of the most ace Tull boots of all time they are, 7 or 8 of them. Also he may have been seen in Tull land in recent years scrambling to get his music replaced, as he is a son of New Orleans who took Katrina's hit right on the chin, losing everything, except his life. Here is the link to the New Orleans obit, additionally a link to the short bit Wynton Marsalis did on their shared hometown just prior to the Super Bowl, which his beloved New Orleans Saints won after decades of futility. God bless and love u Wenny Kelly. obits.nola.com/obituaries/nola/obituary.aspx?page=lifestory&pid=143947399www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWvklvtqoco

It is a sad day when such an devout fan of Jethro Tull passes away. I never knew Wenny but he obviously had a great many friends in the Tull community and I for one offer my condolences to his family and friends.
Thank you Tullist for posting the links and for sharing the sad news with us. Such a Tull fan must never be forgotten.
