Some rarish moments. I thought Requiem was first played live as the encore of 'Jethro Tull, The Rock Opera' This was the start of the pattern in which new songs, played early in the tour, were traded for older war horses by the time they got to California. The only TOTRARTOTD songs played live, by the time they got to the west coast, were Crazed Institution and the title track. We felt quite cheated.

Jethro Tull Rainbow Blues live 1976 RARE Tulletti Projects 8MM footage
underwwraps2 1.91K subscribers This video is for Rainbowblues1954- Both Tulltapes & Paul H. have uploaded bootleg footage from the pro shot 1976 concert in Madrid where Ian is still wearing the Minstrel in the Gallery (1974-1975) costume. Paul gave me the idea to make a video with the audio of the song Rainbow blues live 1976, and the video of Madrid 1976. (Both from about the same time) For R.B.1954 I also spliced in some footage of the Chicago show from 1975 (the year earlier) to make it look a bit better quality wise. The audio is from the Paris, 76 show. The song Rainbow Blues is from the Tull Record-M.U., but they didn't play it live but about two times until 1976 when the band had just recorded their 1976 album-Too Old to Rock'n'Roll.... By the time of the American leg of the Tour, Ian wears a weird (but very cool, indeed) blue spacey sort of costume, and they docked about 6 tracks that they played in the beginning of the tour that was from the TOTR'n'R album. There are many bootlegs from 1976, I have about 10. It is very rare to hear Ian & the boys play gems like this. Footage supported from Tulltapes/Pete (electrocutas.co.uk). Audio supported by Fellow Tull fan (not sure if he would mind me putting his name up). Anyway, this is a Tulletti Project-I took the advice from others who have watched previous projects of mine and took my watermark off & just have a letter logo pop up about once every minute. Enjoy!

Video by Maudy Augusto de Freitas Jethro Tull Flórida 1976 This is the famous Tull-A-Vision footage of Tampa Stadium. On their US 76 tour JT started using giant screens so the people in the back could see the band. Banal, but now relatively new at the time. This is a recording of what was shown on the screen. It's known as "part one", but there is no part two. It was purchased by a group of Tull fans after languishing for many years in someone's basement/attic/garage and lovingly transferred to DVD. There are some glitches/cuts and it's not the complete show. Due to its nature, there are not many feature-length shots
