Wow..That was GREAT..what an amazing 'find'.....look at Ian playing his flute-that's the same guy you see in the 'Nothing is Easy' dvd and the old Fillmore tapes that have made the rounds. This tour was the last gasp of Tull Mach I--regardless of personnel changes, for me Tull is 1967 thru 1984 and then 1986 thru the present. this boiling performance of an often overlooked masterpiece will have a place of honor in my Tull video collection: Ian is totally into the song and performance of it, Barre is characteristically irreproachable, Pegg thunders as needed, P-J V outplays Jobson's version of this song and Doane Perry passes the audition as new Tull drummer. Thanks for the slightly early birthday present Mr. Maddog ! Did I say 'WOW!?'

I did notice two or three places where the camera crew got each other in the frame...no big deal, compared to what Tullies can recognize as a stunning bit of live action but probably a problem for the slick-concious types at MTV

Love Black Sunday live, and agree with the birthday boy...P-J V much better than old Eddie. Saw Black Sunday in Fresno and it knocked my socks off! Happy birthday again, Steel:)

Jethro Tull Live In Barcelona, Sept 12th 1984 Full Concert Jethro Tull Live At "Palau Municipal d'Esports de Barcelona" Sept 12th,1984 "Under Wraps Tour" Band: Ian Anderson - vocals, flute, acoustic guitar and drum machine Martin Barre - electric guitar Dave Pegg - bass Doane Perry - drums Peter-John Vettese - keyboards Some say it is the concert At Le Zenith, Paris, France, 17/9/84 but due to the low image quality, it is not possible for me to see clearly the flag that unfolds before "Thick As A Brick" (about 0.27.00min) As I was at the concert in Barcelona I remember well that the flag was Catalan ... (not Spanish) Catalan Flag .........................French Flag Maybe someone can know something more about this?
