Morning all, Apologies if this has already been posted! www.bbc.co.uk/radio2Sounds of the Seventies, 3pm Sunday 3rd OctoberJohnnie Walker celebrates the 70s by playing classic tracks from both sides of the Atlantic and archive sessions.
This week he speaks to Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. They talk about why Ian decided to start playing the flute, what inspired the band to write a concept album, and Johnnie plays some Jethro Hull [sic] hits from the decade.
Jethro Hull - Yorkshire's premier JT tribute act? I would expect anything earth shattering, but it might make peeling the Sunday roast spuds a bit more interesting! Gareth x

The IA interview, (such as it was), came and went, nothing earth shattering, usual stuff about why did you pick the flute, was TAAB an attempt to take the p--s out of Genesis/ELP/Yes, de daa de daa de daa. Only crumb of news was IA said, (over the phone by the way), he's in the recording studio early 2010, didn't say specifically Tull stuff. If it was new Tull stuff, would he have said WE are in the studio recording new Jethro Tull tracks? We wait in hope.
