Hi equus! If the price of the car wasn`t bad enough, I had to break down and buy a new set of headphones. Imagine...HE in stereo.....wait, now I AM broke! They can do anything, but lay off of my Homo Erraticus! That's the spirit!! And here's a little song for you, Sir Rainbowblue... Thanks Equus......I needed that!!

1. When you download the new album at the earliest opportunity, find you are not that keen on it but then go and buy the cd/dvd version anyway. 2. When you drag your wife along to her twenty something Tull / IA concert though she would prefer to listen to the best of Bread 3. When you know the lyrics to TaaB as well as the band who have just played the album almost non stop for two years.

When you spend over a month trying to make sense of the lyrics from Thick As A Brick... Thinking about it at least eight hours a day... driving everyone insane, because you just can't stop talking about it... Forgetting all about the sun, and the beach... and that was that summer vacation... 1986... lol... "And the sand-castle virtues are all swept away in the tidal destruction, the moral melee." - Ian Anderson, Thick As A Brick

When you use 'current Tull album' as a guide to all memories and peg the whole past to Tull....i.e: 'where were you in 1978? ( thoughts: Bursting Out was new and I got it in Ohio and listened to it that winter break in denver) or, say: 1992 ( my marriage was falling apart while we listened to 'Lite Music' on our last trip together). etc etc etc

You know you are a Tull nut when you have an all day training ( I know, as if) at work and you use your miserly 30 minute break not to eat or check messages etc but on the Tull Forum !!!

You know you are a Tull nut when you wake up in the morning and should ride your fat, lazy, aging ass on a bike to work but instead convince yourself that the teeniest traces of light drizzle indicate chance of rain so you should drive to work...but you know it's beacuse you want to listen to Homo E on the way to and from work on the car CD player.

You know you`re a Tull fan when your deluxe copy of HE is waiting for you when you get home from work (at 1AM), and you wake up with the... sniffles and have to call in sick to work. Doctor said take 15 tracks and call me in the morning. You also know you`re a Tull fan when you pick up your wife at work two miles from home and it takes you 51 minutes to get back

You know you're a Tull fan when you buy the new Tull album as soon as the record store gets it and it's currently 1971.

. . . . when you silently smile when reading this
Tinkara Kovač
Her professional career as a singer started in 1997, when she won "Most promising singer award" at the Portorož festival. Her appearance was encouraged by known local composer Danilo Kocjančič, which together with lyrics writer Drago Mislej – Mef and Marino Legovič wrote the winning song and later the whole material for her first album.
In 2004, at the time of her fourth concert in Ljubljana's Cankarjev dom hall, she invited Ian Anderson (singer of the group Jethro Tull, which greatly contributed to her decision to start playing flute). At Anderson's reverse invitation she participated as a guest during the band's tour in Croatia, Italy, Austria and Germany. Later she sang also with Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin. Her musical influences are U2, KT Tunstall, Imogen Heap, Pink Floyd, Coldplay and Jethro Tull.
On 8 March 2014, Kovač was announced as the winner of EMA 2014 with her bilingual song "Spet/Round and Round" meaning she will represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The song was written by Kovač, Raay, Tina Piš, and the Slovene representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, Hannah Mancini.

One of them (O-range) was released as an international version in Italy (EMI) and also in Croatia (Dallas). With Dallas Records, Tinkara also released the single (Spezzacuori); a special project in four languages which was co-produced in conjunction with the Friuli record label Numar Un; and a Best Of compilation. Tinkara Kovač has in her 15 years of active music career received numerous awards (First Prize at the 1997 Melodies of the Sea and the Sun festival in Portorož, Slovenia, 8 Golden Roosters in 1998, Gold and Platinum awards for all of her albums. She was the runner-up at the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection in Slovenia, the best video-clip and song at the 2000 TV MP3 NOW contest in London, her original music Reason Why was amongst the top ten at the 2003 ISC contest...) For her, her most prominent international collaborations on stage or in the studio were those with Ian Anderson (Jetrho Tull), Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Carlos Nuñez, Dan Lavery, Massimo Bubola, Bungaro and Paul Millns. In January 2013 and under her own record label NAI, Tinkara released a special project with lullabies and musical bed-time stories in dialects of Slovenian and Croatian Istria, Friuli Venezia Gulia and the Slovenian Coast and Karst Region entitled "Zazibanke/Lullabies". She was elected the President of the Villenica Association in June, 2013; and later, on July 6th performed at the 33rd edition of The Melodies of the Sea and the Sun Festival with Mars in Venera/Mars and Venus song which she wrote in collaboration with Gaber Radojevič and Lea Sirk. She was awarded the Best Performance and the Main Prize respectively. About the composer Raay is one of most successful songwriters and producers in Slovenia. He made his first prominent steps in his music career as a producer-writer 11 years ago with Slovenia's first "Popstars" and "Idol" projects. Afterwards he collaborated with various artists from different music genres, and as a singer in two music groups, Turbo Angels and Tangels respectively. He won major prizes at several Slovenian music festivals in past years. Raay was also a producer and the main songwriter for the latest album by Nusa Derenda, Slovenia's best entry in ESC (2001, Copenhagen). Although he tried his hand in various styles of songs at the beginning of his career, Raay in 2009 decided to create "Team Raay", focusing their efforts on an analysis of worldwide "chart oriented" music market, and in producing music which could compete with international hits on Slovenian radio airplay charts. Since 2010, his songs have won the top 20 spots on Slovenia's official airplay charts. For the fourth year, Raay is a songwriter and producer with the largest share of songs within the top 20 of Slovenia airplay charts. With these references he was also able to enter the world's second largest music market, namely Japan and the general Asian market. Last year, his team was noticed by one of Asia's most important record labels. Raay used the same approach of market analysis as at home, and is now one of most promising developing music writers in Japan. Some of his songs have already appeared on albums reaching No1 on the Japanese Billboard. As a manager and executive producer, Raay has been presenting different artists, and is as a "talent scout" and the Raay Production A&R are always open for new talent. Raay is no stranger to EMA, the Slovenian Eurovision Song pre-selection festival. In 2004, 2008, 2010, 2011 and in 2014, he participated with various degrees of success with various artists and songs. He was a member of the jury panel in the "Misija Evrovizija"/Mission Eurovision talent show in 2012, where they'd chosen Slovenia's 2012 entry Eva Boto, and was also a member of Slovenian jury panel for ESC 2012 and 2013.

Same thing happened to me. I have listened and listened to HE since it came out and then decided to give it a break. Its replacement was TAAB2. My personal view is that TAAB2 is still the much better album.

TAAB 2 is hard to beat and will remain in the highest circle of Tull albums forever,,,but the more I listen to HE the more I hear proof that the 'effort' and 'sheer genius' aspect of the current album reflects a band that has played together longer. I hope we get at least one more original product from current line up....I think Ian is writing with high expectations from his helpers and I think his helpers are properly inspired and enjoying the ride enough to maintain excellent attitude and execution of Mr Anderson's 'later that same life' creative monuments. Good Tull times....TAAB 2 may remain above HE in the Tull standings...it makes sense that his first studio album after all those years packed an extra wallop that may not be available for each new project.

You sit for twenty minutes thinking what can I post on the 'You know You Are A Tull Fan' thread. Then you decide to take a pic of your new tour t shirt. Then upload to the laptop and post it on the forum. Oh and when your mother pops in spend 15 minutes showing her IA's house and garden from the forum link ( She likes houses and gardens and apart from Andy Williams a bit of Heavy Horses for good measure )

I live in hope of a few more. So far there are 2 from Brighton on April 28th. The other is recorded from the balcony. Considering the size of the crowd, this made the music even clearer. No talking in-between songs.

"It's not the same and Ian has been killing off the real Tull fans for years in favor of his cheap solo act acting under the premise of being the same as Tull because Ian thinks he is every thing to every body and drones like you show he has minions."

I guess I'm a minion...after all....you know you're a Tull fan if you can barely pay your rent, bills, child support paymnets and bicycle repair bills but you're utterly stressed about empty seats in British Tull venues. I'm ready to kick in my lunch money so Ian doesn't decide touring is unprofitable.
