I assume Coronach wasn't included because it was a one off track for a TV series? A shame as I love the song and only have it cassette!
No idea why Motoreyes never made the BatB remaster.
Maybe one day we'll get a second Nightcap with these an few other on? Blues Instrumental (from the Stormwatch sessions?) was another on the 20th anniversary set not subsequently released. It'd be a shame if they never saw the light of CD day.

Frightning to think it's over 20 years ago I first heard that ...... and it seems only yesterday. Ian's started adding a few more obscure songs to the Never-Ending Tour setlist - I definitely think that should join them

It would also be be good to have the original recording of Coronach, sung by IA, that was used on the end credits of the series "Blood of the British" in 1984 issued at some time.
I don't think the series ever made it to video or DVD but it would be one to hear in pristine stereo.

Both are on the 20 year box set - On Cd's - so I doubt they would be on a nightcap vol II. The box set is hard to find but there are still some out there.

As well as the box set there was a condensed single CD edition which is much easier to find. I only have a copy of the box set and not the short version but if Coronach & Motoreyes are on there it shouldn't be too difficult to find on ebay. EDIT: Now I am confused! Just had a quick look on ebay and there are a few of these listed, some seem to include Coronach & Motoreyes and some don't!? Can anyone with a copy of this confirm if they are on it or not?

Probably depended on where you bought the album. Have a look at www.electrocutas.co.uk/LP/albums25.htm 'cos the sampler album had some tracks on the vinyl version which weren't on the cd version. Now I'm confused, why the heck did they do that?

Ah, I see, it all becomes slightly clearer! So the listings for the CD's on ebay with the LP tracks are wrong? Someone's going to be a tad annoyed if they buy one of those.

Stick to buying the complete box set not the "sampler". It, the sampler, was issued by Chrysalis, so I was told at the time by the owner of my then local record shop, as a release to pull in the non Tull fans.

I would think that both songs will be included in future Steven Wilson remixes. "Motoreyes" is another great song from the prolific Broadsword sessions(along with about a half a dozen songs from the "Nightcap" collection), I'm not sure if "Coronach" would be included in Under Wraps or Crest of a knave, but if Wilson does those two albums it should be on one of the two.
