Hello!! My name is Vincent, and I'm a huge fan of Tull! (Of course). I discovered them in about 2020, from my Flute teacher, but recently fell in love with them, around last month. I currently own Stand Up and Thick As A Brick (steven wilson) on vinyl, as well as Aqualung, Songs from the wood, Heavy Horses, Stormwatch, A, Broadsword and the Beast, Underwraps, Crest Of A Knave, Rock Island, Catfish Rising, Roots to Branches and the 2001 best of compilation on CD.
I can play the flute, and like to draw as well. Ive attempted a few drawings of Jethro Tull. Really really wish I could see Tull in the 1970s, but seeing as I'm 16, there was no chance lol! Hoping they do come to Australia soon.
Will be honest, I've never used a thread or forum, not even sure if i did this right! happy to be here either way, though!

Great first post Vincent Nice to see you here, it's brilliant that you are liking the band, like I did back in 1971 when I was 16.....lol. My first gig was the Thick as a Brick tour and I've loved JT and Ian Anderson's music ever since. The forum is quiet these days, but plenty of stuff to read if you look around. Cheers

G'day Vincent and it's good you've found your way to The Jethro Tull Forum where there's more Jethro Tull facts and stories to keep you amused. I'd like to see some of your Tull drawings if possible so post away

Hello Vincent. You are the same age as my grandchildren. The best music will always be the stuff you heard in your teens.I have been fortunate to have lived in the age of what is now called 'Classic Rock.'I also happen to live in the town where Black Sabbath played their first gig. My first experience of Jethro Tull was seeing them on TV.I too was 16. My parent's hated them. I was intrigued. They were so ugly! As I have never been anyone's idea of a Greek God this helped to drag me in to the best fun and pleasure anyone could have from life.

I'm working on a time machine and' Tull live in 1973' will be one of the settings. I'll keep you updated. Oh, BTW, I am NOT soliciting research and development money.....as a proud co-moderator, it wouldn't be right.
