19a Convention De Tullianos Estem de Festa! LINK Synopsis The 19th edition has been delayed ... But it has finally arrived. The Tullianos, fans of the progressive rock group Jethro Tull, have returned to the Marc Grau Auditorium on the Saturday of the festival, to gather all the Jethro fans. Arrivals from all over Catalonia and Spain. Even from beyond. Everything went well and you could enjoy a poster featuring Florian Opahle, a guitarist who has often played with Jethro Tull leader Ian Anderson. This time accompanied by the German artist Robespierre and who was delighted with the existence of this fan meeting.

Jethro Tull fans fill Gavà LINK The event, which in 2022 has now added its nineteenth edition, took place yesterday at the Marc Grau Auditorium By Rosa Yélamos -July 3, 2022 After two years of forced stoppage due to the restrictions arising from the pandemic, Gavà has been able to recover the Convention of Tullianos, or what is the same meeting with different groups and fans of the legendary group Jethro Tull. The event, which in 2022 has already added its nineteenth edition, took place yesterday, Saturday, July 2, as part of the Festa Major de Sant Pere in the Marc Grau Auditorium of the Parc del Mil·lenni and was will last until dawn.
The performances started with Cristóbal Vergara, who, since 2003, has never been absent to inaugurate the meeting. Paco & Josing also performed, a band made up of members of the Tullianos and regulars at the event. Another proposal was that of Los Restos de Morgan from Viladecans, with a repertoire of rock classics, which had to be played at the 2020 convention, which had to be canceled due to the covid.
The highlight of the evening was Florian Ophale & Robespierre, who performed a 45-minute concert with their own songs included on their new album. It is worth mentioning that Florian Ophale is a very powerful German guitarist who has already been to Gavà and accompanied Ian Anderson, both with the group and in his latest solo projects.
Finally they touched the Undertull making versions of subjects of Jethro Tull. Almost 20 years of conventionThe meeting of Tullians was born in 2003, in a modest way, as a small gathering of fans that brought together about thirty people from different parts of Spain for a lunch at the now defunct restaurant Les Fonts de Bruguers.
Since then, the project has grown and become a European reference with the presence of Ian Anderson himself on several occasions. From the organization, Albert Villanueva acknowledges that they are "very excited to be able to resume this project", but also admits that, all in all, "it is difficult and the cost has skyrocketed with inflation".
