Fair warning my friends: The 25 year tour dragged on for 3 years.....it got so stagnant and boring that it actually drove David Pegg to drink (more). So don't be surprised if we haven't seen the last of the 40 year tour! One option would be to celebrate the 40th year of Stand Up....but, if i remember correctly, they did a walloping majority of Stand Up songs on the Catfish Tour ( Nothing is easy, Fat Man, New Day, Bouree, Reasons, 1000 Mothers)

OMG 40th of Stand Up then Benefit and then and then YIKES........... No No No..... But how can you not think that with comments like this: (thanks for posting this RockIsland) "WHAT does the 40th anniversary mean to you? I’m entirely unmoved and unimpressed by 40 years as a landmark. I find birthdays and anniversaries difficult in any walk of life." And this is not good, kind of scary > "Will it be “Jethro Tull till I die”? These days, the fans don’t want a new Tull album, they want an old Tull album. It’s about nostalgia and that’s the problem. I can write that stuff but I don’t really find any joy in the idea. You know what’s going to happen at a Rolling Stones concert if they play unfamiliar music: “Oh right, it’s pee break.” That’s what happens and it’s rather sad. " Here is that page link > www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/sftw/article1954597.eceBut ~ I as many here, I think, want a NEW Album, for-go a tour and do it IAN!!!! I Want Something NEW!!! is my answer...
