After trawling the net for almost ten years now - considerably less than other Tull seekers of info, there are some questions that remain unanswered.
It would be nice to think that someone sometime might come up with the answers.
1. The bit part actors name and where I've seen him before who is handing the award to Gerald on the cover of TAAB.
2. The meaning of Sossity - if there is a meaning or did the letters just fit the line and sound nice?
There's loads more but I cant think at the mo - post yours or even better post the answers.

What was his first musical instrument and where did he get it from? The answer is here; An Elvis Presley signature plastic uke His Dad "“... got it mail-order from a Sunday newspaper,” Anderson says. “I remember it cost 22 and six and even it if had been two and sixpence it still would have been complete crap. It couldn’t get in tune, it was completely useless.” Where did his father buy his first guitar? ..Anderson’s father acquired a Spanish guitar with metal strings where nylon was required, “which made the action ridiculously high and almost unplayable”, he laughs, but admits, “I managed to make a bit of a noise on there without knowing any chords,” teamrock.com/feature/2016-08-25/jethro-tull-s-ian-anderson-the-blues-roots-of-a-prog-heroBut where did he buy his first flute from? I want to find a pic of the shop.

I saw that but I wonder if it was the actual one or maybe it was bought from a newspaper add like the plastic ukulele? I think it would be a good addition to the Forum to have a photograph of the actual shop where Ian bought his first flute.

The story used to be on the official site, with the story of the Ukelele, Burns Bison, and Aria guitars as I recall. Seems he spotted the shiny instrument in 'a shop' with his Jackdaw eye while trading something in, and liked that you could fit it in your pocket. Everyone in the van could get a sound out of the wretched thing except Ian. I've forgotten - did he buy the flute in Blackpool,Luton or London? We've found quite a lot of things like this however this and a couple of other items are on the back burner. Anyone? My nickname on here is Miss Marple

The flute wasn't handed over, from on high, on top of Mt Sinai ( where the ten commandments were delivered) ?
