Le Pirate - Rosenheim FLORIAN Opahle & ARMIN RUPPEL www.jazz-fun.de/events-le-pirate-rosenheim/events/florian-opahle-armin-ruppel.html
Latin - Flamenco - Fusion
The guitar duo Florian Opahle & Armin Ruppel presented a passionate and virtuosic blend of flamenco, Latin and jazz. With compositions by Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola and Chick Corea , the two tie in with the biggest highlight of the acoustic guitar , Friday Night in San Francisco , just like the cool Latin hits by Carlos Antonio Jobim and Sergio Mendes and the great master of tango , Astor Piazzolla.
Florian Opahle is a sought-after live and studio musician. For years, he is the lead guitarist with Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) and his solo shows (most recently in 2012/2013 Thick As A Brick" World Tour) and has also with musicians like Greg Lake (Emerson Lake & Palmer, King Crimson), Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann's Earth Band), Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues) and many others worked.
Armin Ruppel has worked in the 80s and 90s pop and soul music with artists such as George McCrae, The Four Tops, The Platters and Modern Talking. In recent years he has published a series of CDs with acoustic guitar music, including a series with music of the grand masters of classical music, Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi and Chopin, one of Germany's most successful productions of instrumental music.

David Lopez from miusyk ( www.miusyk.com/) told us that Florian has accepted an interview conducted by himself and tullianos questions like last year, but tell us as is working on studio (not specified whether its own project or with IA) and answers may be long in coming. David provide me the original responses in English and will be published here. I will not speculate on whether IA is preparing a new album because Florian has not specified in which project is working.

I want to drink a BIER right HERE and Rock with Florian Opahle's Bluesproject Gasthaus Zum Bräu Garching an der Alz Flo LINK Capacity: 250 standing, 160 seats Accessibility: Access to and in the hall and the adjacent bar; WC - systems are not suitable for wheelchair users. Parking: Around the inn "Zum Bräu" there is plenty of parking. Gastronomy: In the restaurant you can strengthen well before the event, especially with the known chips. Hospitality in the hall and in the adjacent Bunkerbar, here there is the ideal opportunity after the concert in a pleasant atmosphere to entertain with excellent music perfectly.
The inn "Zum Bräu" in Garching / Wald looks back on a long tradition. First mentioned in 1546 as a brewery, it is still in operation today. In the former brewhouse is the Concert Hall of the conversion work today after several aufweisst excellent acoustics, but has lost none of its old charm. Anyone who sees the hall for the first time, suspected on the basis of the architecture that he enters a former church - a high vault with thick walls, curved arches, tall windows and especially the three factories owned chandelier on the ceiling give this impression. Within these walls formed during concerts the magical atmosphere of live music - be it rock, blues rock or hard rock that is appreciated by visitors since 2005 and so therefore keep coming back.

Garching an der Alz Current Time LINK Florian Opahle`s Bluesproject Guitarist by Ian Anderson FLO Link
Suddenly he just stood before him: Ian Anderson - Jethro Tull frontman,Rockstar, Flute pioneer and member of the British Empire, pressed Florian Opahle a CD in his hand and said, if he could, listen to the two songs tomorrow times.
Then a young guitarist Rosenheim immediately understood: this could be it - the great opportunity of which all dream of. And he used it. Florian took place of the long-standing Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre on several world tours with Anderson in part, including on projects in which pieces of Jethro Tull were played with orchestral accompaniment. With Anderson, he took the albums "Thick as a Brick 2" and the latest work "Homo Erraticus" on. But even with such musicians as Al di Miola, Greg Lake and Leslie Mandokie Florian played together. He is currently with Ian Anderson on the "The Best of Jethro Tull - World Tour on the road - who wants to see Florian here , has on 23 May in Munich the opportunity.
Therefore, the makers of "music-night" happy and proud to have a concert date found in densely packed tour schedule of Florian Opahle. On Saturday, February 7th place in the hall of the restaurant "Zum Bräu" in Garching / Forest concert with Florian Opahle`s Blue Project instead. The band presented this evening musical gems from the genres rock and blues rock. Anyone who has seen the first concert last year at the "Bräu" says what excellent players accompanied him. So this time with Drums - Rainer Huber, Bass - Mathias Hof and Keyboards - Stephan Weiser It is a rousing and exclusive evening of exceptional guitar with his band and one of the few concerts with this particular formation.
Presale: 20 € (. Plus booking fee) / reservation: 23 € / box office: 24 € Intake: 20:00 clock / Start: 21:00 clock Spaces: Hall / bistro tables / standing Catering: Catering Hall / Bunkerbar
