But seriously, aside from maybe CBGB's and a few other punk bastions, isn't anywhere a good place for a Tullfest ?

Baker St. Muse described as 'a musical titan' in that poll....cool. Suggests a listen during a lunch break...exactly what i did first year in college...dashed to my room at lunch and listened to BSM !

My top ten is the same as Jim's for 7 songs...I would sub in: Budapest, Dark Ages and Seal Driver for Roots, SFTW and One White Duck....and maybe put With You There to help me over My God.

Your list is very close to mine, Jim, but I would throw in a couple more acoustic tracks, like "Dun Ringill."

David Koukol and his 'Tull Wall' at home in Attleboro, Massachusetts I believe any place can be a 'Tull Wall' or 'Tull Cave'. It's always a work of art.

Hey, that's me! Thank you for posting, Jim! I look horrible in this photograph, but, oh, well...
My wall can't compete with your Tull Cave, but I still like it!

Rock on Jim!! - Equus Cause for celebration Jim. And it's a reminder that the late Alan Freeman, radio presenter and lover of great music including Jethro Tull as I can testify having spoken to him on occasion about the band, used the sign off lyric "For those about to rock, we salute you" from the AC/DC song as one of his broadcast jingles. Alan "Fluff" Freeman (6 July 1927 – 27 November 2006) Uploaded on 29 Aug 2009 by Mark Holding "This is "At The Sign Of The Swinging Cymbal" performed by Brian Fahey and his Orchestra, this is the original version as originally used by the BBC as the theme to Pick of the pops."

In hindsight it was the best thing that ever happened The Jethro Tull Forum Rocks Best! Also a year ago about this to me, and I'm very happy about it Thanks to The Jethro Tull Forum for allowing me to continue enjoying Tull, uncensored and with very supportive of all the moderators. Also nice to see in this forum a number of my friends who were in the other forum and are now here. Special mention to Jim, Metta, Sergio and Kai which finally followed my same path No doubt, this is the only forum of Jethro TullHere if I can say: Viva Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson!!!

I gotta say that is an excellent shot Jim. What a smile, like you're onto something very good. Frankly I would have guessed Deadhead were it not for the shirt. That's like one of the smiles you see after a Dead show after I have a brief delusion that the world can be saved...a feeling that lasted for about 5 minutes in the afterglow of the best shows.

Fear not Ray, thanks to all the cool people like you and members of the Tull Forum, the world is better.
I got into the Greatful Dead briefly in the early 70's mainly because of the album "Mars Hotel". Overall they make great music but not on the same wavelength as my own "Tullian Lifestyle".
When I go to a Tull Gig, I feel the universe is expanding and I'm going to ride it as far as it goes! Tull DNA ... The Final FrontierWhat's the acoustics like? The acoustics get better everytime I play a rare and precious Tull recording. 2014 Tull Rules!
