The Greek Show either left Tullskull: Speechless, suicidal or too far from a computer...I await his review!
What a long strange trip it's been
Not Dead ;D
Sittin' on a Greek Bench!!!!! Hello Tullies, sorry for the long delay in reporting, had a long trip home and a pressing matter to deal with when I got here, but now is time....
This was show number 21 for me in 38 years.
Not the best, and not the worst that is for sure.
Martin flat RIPPED It Up. I just wish that the camera guys would show more of Martin on the big screen, Ian this is NOT all about you as you my think it is
LOL.. Martin IS Tull
My Sunday Feeling, good open, was well done and fit that Sunday well.
Living in the past, little weak on Ian's part but the band was tight.
Serenade to a cuckoo, really good, did some of his funny body moves at the end of this one.
Nursie, OH So Sweet, need I say more.
Song for Jeffrey, back to the late 60's here with the settings on the sound for the voice, very well done.
Farm on the Freeway, RIPPED, was hard to hear Ian with my wife singing so loud, well so was I, ;D and the Gurl on my other side, felt sorry for the stiffs in front of us.
Bouree, thank you for doing it like it should of been done, no wacked out flute playing at the end well just a touch.
A New Day Yesterday, oh so nice, touch weak on Ians part but not that much, we must understand he is 61 now. Did he do Kelpie at the end? where was I? LMAO... ohh well
For a 1000 Mothers, once again this band did a good job.
Too old to rock and roll, not so good, weak on Ians part, but I don't care for this number at shows anymore.
We use to know/With you there to help, again, nice job boys.
Dharma, wish Donnie would of played longer, was a short and sweet solo. and Count the chickens
Heavy Horses, well what can I say, all shows have a bad spot, weak on Ian's part in places and again not a fav of mine.
Thick as a Brick, wish it was the whole thing, oh well was very good.
Aqualung, YES, nice, did it right this time, TY Ian..
Locomotive Breath, wow would of been nice if this was done stronger for the last song, was weak, low and flat, so sad..
No break, one set straight thru..
On the whole it was a good show, not a mind blower, the power house of the mid and late 90's is gone, get use to it folks, < I am trying> But this is a blues band and a damn good one.
Now for the rest of the report...
Mr. Anderson ~ Well yes he is weak at times and strains, nothing new, but for the most part was fine, he is 61 and was just at the Rocks. His flute of course was great, and thanks Ian for NOT grabbing your nuts at the end of ALung, and thanks for doing it right.
Martin ~ Martin ~ Martin ~ You freakin' ripped it up bro.... Wish the solo would of gone on and on and on.. This man IS Tull..
John O'Hara ~ He is ok, did a good job, but at times and I cant remember which numbers but them keys he had sounded cheep and more like a piano, good thing it was just now and then.
David Goodier ~ Don't know who is the bigger stick in the mud, Goodier or Jonathan Noyce LOL
Like I said the power house of the late 90's is gone, the spring time high is gone, and I hope the nut grabbing is gone
We had seats off to the side and could not see the big screen in the back of the band, just as well, my bro who was in the center said it got old and in the way, my wife said that the lighting looked like it was bought at Wall Mart
Sure could do better with the lights, like may be a light show, ohh this is a blues band....
From Beautiful SW Colorado this is Skull Reporting........
