Ian turns 65 next week....listen up everyone...no one tell him how many people retire or are retired by the age of 65....just change the subject if it comes up...and just between us on this milestone birthday....how much longer can we hope for continued new works and steady...or even decreased, touring? 5 years, 5-10 years....as long as he can? Anyone going to the church gigs, do me a favor...pray for his continued health and happiness, okay ?

Here, young man, don't be so pessimistic he's already prancing about like a fifty year old onstage so you can't really "age" Ian in terms of numbers.
Look at Tony Bennett - he's 86 and still performing.
Ian will be crooning My God well into his eighties.
"start spreading the news..." I know wrong crooner......
