What happened to it then? Anybody know? Good point Tullie. Seems to have slipped under the radar but then maybe IA considers it a highly personalised album and doesn't feel the need to "tinker" with it - but then I'm guessing

Three out of the four first albums got 40 year attention...Benefit being the lone exception. What's the big deal about 40 anyway? I've always thought the natural mileposts are more like 10, 25 and then 50...maybe the record companies can't wait till 50 or Ian is being pragmatic and knows he won't give a $h1t, in 10 more years, about his early works. What's the pattern with other first and first and a half wave bands....is 40 a big deal for other iconic albums from the sixties?

I'm guessing Ian either thinks it's a less important album to most fans or less iconic than aqualung or stand up, or EMI(or whoever) doesn't think it would sell
