Favourite On Stage Apparel or Costumes worn by the band anyone? The 1968/69 look had a rather "your parents wouldn't like us" look.

Sure beats the hell out of the bandana look but not the era of the country squire

Definite phases of the Tull look going on. Top favorite was the blue suit with spaceman leg and shoulder strips from around 1976, as in "what the heck?"
First Tull concert, 1976, standing very close to stage, could have tuned Martin's guitar was so close to stage, concert starts, guy in a blue space outfit walks on and starts playing TAAB. Now THAT'S spinning it back down through the years alright, right back to the Apollo program.

Those boots that he wore in the first pic are called Larrigans - trapper boots worn in the 19th century and onstage in the late 60's/early 70's. i43.images obliterated by tinypic/33xv7n4.png[/IMG] I suppose you could say between the boots and the long check coat he was going for a Dickensian - like, 19th century trapper look?

Lots of great Tull looks. Some of them more "unique" than others. My favorite are the outfits from the 1982 tours. i41.images obliterated by tinypic/2dqr09y.jpg[/IMG] i42.images obliterated by tinypic/343kefa.jpg[/IMG]

Not forgetting this thread jethrotull.proboards.com/thread/37/wearwith details of the clothes and where they were sourced. My favourite look was the check coat, leggings and suede boots and then the roguish SFTW tinker. The Scottish laird was a wee bit too naff (like the others weren't ) and the less you say about the Russian gangster look the better. I like the waistcoat, black jeans (?) and bandana look of the aging rock star and the whole travelling gypsey look is fine too as long as they don't grow moustaches and stay clear of matching waistcoats. i40.images obliterated by tinypic/2vjbv9g.png[/IMG] Martin is looking the best that he has ever looked since he got rid of the hair and I do like the hat. O'Hara cuts a fine figure as well as a trendy(ish) English school teacher. i40.images obliterated by tinypic/riy92v.png[/IMG] Mind you it's all a bit boring now give or take the odd glimpse of red braces.
