Can anyone kindly tell me how I can find/see pics of Ian's daughter? Always thought Shona was very attractive but have never seen any pic of Gael.
Thanks!

I tried , Rabbit but no luck. I'm surprised; thought she was a British actress and married to a TV star over there. Could be mistaken.

Also thought she had a fairly celebrated wedding with guests including Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Robinson. Maybe I'm confusing her w/ someone else.

hi, she is married to the actor " andrew lincoln " google for info. The reason you can't find a lot is because Andrew's and Gael's surname is Clutterbuck. Tommie, you can find more pictures of the Anderson Clan from Ian's MBE awards last Feb. here: www.rexfeatures.com/live/2008/02/28/ian_anderson,_mbe,_at_the_carlton_towers_hotel And for the real hard core stalkers- Gael has a Facebook page but I personally wouldn't try to befriend her. She gives a shout out to brother James band , The Fancy Toys. No mention of Tull so she might be trying to keep the stalkers at bay. www.facebook.com/gael.clutterbuck

Hasn't he always said that he didn't entertain the idea of acting?? ;D www.heraldscotland.com/arts-ents/film-tv-features/made-to-be-measured-1.1035394"...When singer-songwriter Roy Harper was asked in 1972 to screen test for a feature film to play a hippy troubadour who meets a single mother and a priest on Brighton Beach, his competition for the role in Made was a familiar looking bunch. Ray Davies of The Kinks was there, as was Jethro Tull’s lead loon Ian Anderson. Also in the frame was Marc Bolan, a teeny-bopper idol who might have provided enough box-office gold for Made not to have disappeared off the circuit for almost 40 years..." methinks he should have done at least one 'arry Potter - what do you think? ;D

I'm interested in Ian's family too. I don't know if I would message gael though and tell her I'm a huge fan of her dad. Has anyone tried to just send her a nice message though, not to be stocking, but just a friendly message?

Whilst I get the drift of your post, The Jethro Tull Forum doesn't really go in for the intrusive personal element as this could be construed as an invasion of privacy. As for wanting to post a message to any of IA's kin, or for that matter any family member of the band, it would be appropriate to contact the official Tull site and ask there.

Hello all. I don't mean to pry or anything or sound too personal, but can anyone tell me any info about Ian's family? Who was Jennie, the woman who helped Ian with the lyrics to aqualung, and it's interesting to learn about Shona and Ian's children. Can anyone tell me a little about them? Sorry if I am being too rude or too personal. I don't mean to. Thanks.

Thanks for that statement. I wouldn't even know how to contact the official site or what to say really. Thanks for your post.

Hello all. I can't find the other forum topic where I asked about Ian's family. It's always neat to hear info about the family members of the singers you like and stuff. I'm not trying to be mean or pry, just was curious. can anyone tell me any info on shona Anderson? I thought I would do seperate forum topics asking about family members if that's okay. Thanks. warchild82

Hello. I was wondering if any of the tull children sang on any of the music? I know a lot of bands have had their children on the songs? Thanks. To tell you the truth Warchild82 we don't delve too deep into the private life of any of the members of the band. May I suggest you try the official Jethro Tull site where you might find more info

Ditto that...not that i don't share normal curiousity about everything related to ian, the preponderance of questions regarding member's of a certain family does seem a bit too 'people magazine' for a rock and roll bunch like ourselves...or has a feel of 'testing' like at what point might we moderators say something for the obvious reason of not wanting to further a direction that would make a Tull member feel unsafe and decrease our chances of good relation with and the odd mention from the official site...and even if you are pulling our chains, w-child fourscore and two...James is the kid voice on 'Batteries Not Included' on 'A'...having been a bright and curious enough child of his smart dadoo and no slouch mom to wonder aloud what would happen if a kid, like his fancy toys, ran out of batteries.....see what you get if you ask ME questions?

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knew anything on the children of jethro tull's members and what they are up to these days? Thanks. Hello warchild82, is it possible that you are obsessed with that subject? Let me put it like that: The Jethro Tull´s members privacy - and especially their families - is none of your business.

No. I'm not obsessed. I was just interested that's all. I'm not trying to start anything. I'm sorry.

Here's a very brief story of Tull.. part Tullpress and part memory from Ray Jones Croeso's site about a roadie (not sure if it was him?) with Tull around 1970's. www.raysmusic.co.uk/History/Chapter4/tabid/426/Default.aspx(starts to talk about Tull halfway down) I think the only connection with the band Quest was that they were on Chysalis at the same time as Tull??
